We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe location in St. Luce is not convenient for walking. Guest should plan to have access to a car
Hotel Douce Vague is located in Sainte Lucie very cloese to a beach. At best it is a 3 star apartment style hotel. The manager Dominique is the absolute best and will do anything to support your visit. The rooms were clean, well air conditioned and functional.

United StatesAs often happened to us in Martinique, we were sometimes surprised by things like how the breakfast worked, or why the reception desk was closed when we went to check out on a Saturday morning at 10:30, but these were not serious problems!
The location is fantastic, fifty meters from a beautiful beach and an easy walk into town, with parking provided. One day we signed up for breakfast which was beautifully served to us in the garden.

United StatesThe advertised breakfast option is in fact non-existing, and nearby restaurants are not open for breakfast (fortunately there are Carrefour and Auchan stores within minutes to procure breakfast food). Apartment design: toilet is in a separate room with no sink, so one needs to walk to the bathroom (touch two doors) before washing hands. Night stands are extremely small, for no reason: there is plenty of room for larger ones. Small TV for such a large room.
Location, basically on the beach, with 2 restaurants nearby. Very nice, groomed front yard, with chaise longs under coconut trees. Good size room. Fully equipped kitchen that converts into a balcony with a nice view. Clean sheets and towels. Dominique at the front desk is a wonderful host, kind and accommodating, speaks good English, and promptly addresses any problem guests might encounter. From my perspective, she is a Jack Of All Trades that keeps the hotel running smoothly.

United StatesMildew/moldy smell was horrific. We couldn’t use A/C because of smell, just opened windows at either end so the breeze kept us cool. Maybe the filters need changing? Ants in the kitchen made food prep and storage difficult, adding details like having salt and pepper would have been nice.
All in all a fine experience. Hotel in serious need of an update. Parking was close by but a problem due to weekend beach-goers taking all the spots. Grounds were pretty, view of the water was over a large residence. Bathroom was good.
