Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

MaltaThe main negative thing which truly affected our stay was the mattresses. One of them in particular it’s basically just springs with no foam or cushioning. You can feel the coils poking through, and it gives no support at all. The other mattresses also need immediate changing as they're in really bad shape. Other than that it's just the basic stuff that needs attention to be better equipped like: we found no napkins , only 1 roll of toilet paper per room, no garbage bags, no lighter (It's needed to light up the cooker and we used this for the 5 days of our stay), there was not even a dish washing liquid or dish cloth - again, they're small basic stuff which we have bought but it's not something anyone would expect out of a holiday rental.

Malta-No proper curtains and therefore a lot of light in the room as soon as the sun rises -Oven does not work properly very slow takes ages to cook the smallest item -Matresses and pillows very old and uncomfortable

United KingdomWe were upset by the welcome received over the telephone when we were trying to find the house. It seems to have a different name so therefore not easy to find. Luckily the friendly cleaners welcomed us on arrival and let us leave our luggage until the house was ready. The house needs a total deep clean, items such as the kettle, toaster and cooker were very grimy and the showers were dirty. The water was either boiling hot without warning or cold. The taps were broken. One bathroom had no toilet seat. We bought items to clean the kitchen and bathrooms ourselves. The bed linen and towels had certainly seen better days. We didn't particularly want to sit on the furniture as it all felt sticky and dirty. The worst thing was the electricity. The sockets were UK style but the items ie. kettle, toaster, hairdryer were all 2 pin. There was one adaptor provided to service all items. The bedrooms had lamps with 2 pin plugs but UK sockets, the rooms were very dark. When I used the hairdryer I got an electric shock and burnt my fingers and on our last day, the plug literally melted in my hand when I boiled the kettle and flames came out of the socket. We left the burnt plug and also sent photos to back this up. We did not receive any follow up and we would not recommend this house which could be amazing if the owners spent a bit of money updating it and also dealt with the plugs/adaptors issue to make it safe. No smoke detectors in the house.
The size of the house and the pool area, friendly cleaners. Great pizza restaurant a short walk away that has amazing views. Close proximity to Victoria and La Citadella. Travelled everywhere by Bolt taxis.

MaltaAc centralized unit . It keeps reseting and not working properly summer peak is approaching. Small upgrades could make this farmhouse a dream. Example oven/cooker
Super clean location perfect spacious farmhouse good size bedrooms. Pool perfect. Beds comfortable .
