Very nice localisation, Birgu is beautiful city, a lot to see, close everywere(Valletta) nice apartment with jacuzzi on the roof, clean and whole kitchen for use, wine on arrival from the owner, good communication with personel, very good, I recommend

It was cold during the night and there was only a this duvet which was very dirty. Everything from the bed sheets to carpets need to be deeply cleaned or changed as some things have a strong smell. The jaccuzzi was dirty as well so I did not risk using it.

The location is great. Overall the room looks nice if you don’t look at it in detail.

The room is beautiful and the design is old and beautiful. The location is great in Valletta. The price is good for a cheap room to have for couple of days and the view from the rooftop is beautiful. The room unfortunately wasn't clean and the mattress was dirty and smudged with red wine and other dirty spots we didn't want to know what they were. The carpet on the floor next to the bed smelled bad. The price is cheap and good for the city but definitely has to be cleaner because that's the least what you expect in a room.

Every aspect of the apartment and roof terrace needed a deep clean, with grime and dirt on floors/rugs/shower and outside furniture. It's a shame that previous feedback regarding this has not been acted on, as the actual apartment and its setting are so lovely... A few days of labour bringing cleanliness and maintenance (eg plug sockets and shower) up to a higher standard would allow you to charge a significantly higher amount for this accommodation.

Fabulous location with lovely views from the shared roof-terrace/jacuzzi. Comfortable bed and spacious accommodation.

When we arrived in the evening, room was not ready. We had to wait for an hour to come in. When we finally got an access to the room it had clean bed, but surrounding was still dirty. We asked the owner to clean room again and it was done next day. So it’s good that personal was reacting to out requests, but in other hostels we shouldn’t even ask about so basic things as clean towels, floor or suitcases.

Spacious room with a kitchen and a bathroom. It was well equipped with all the necessary appliances. There where a hot water all the time. Good location.

The apartment is in a good location. However, it had a very strange smell—almost unbearable when we first entered. We had to air it out immediately. The host does not respond to messages. We even contacted Booking, but no one has replied yet. Honestly, this was a waste of money. The apartment was also very dirty. We were woken up at 4 AM by other guests running down the stairs, as unfortunately, everything can be heard. There was also wine in the apartment, supposedly priced at 18 euros per bottle. However, one of the bottles was already opened, half empty, and placed back. We took pictures immediately upon arrival to avoid any accusations that we drank it ourselves. Very very bad apartment.

If you arrive at night for the first time, there are descending steps to lobby, motion sensor light comes on but not until a bit later- just use your phone torch xx

The owners put a lot of thought into it. Nice pieces, great location, hot shower, beautiful rooftop hang out area, great jacuzzi!

The door leading into the house goes straight into the bedroom. My girl was sleeping, and I had to nip out and get something, but when you put code in to get through the door, it's so noisy. Also the door leading into reception is wafer thin can here people right outside the door. Nothing to do with the property but parking is difficult as it's mainly residents only. Maybe if the house owners know some gd parking spots maybe advertise that it will help customers. Apart from these small issues what a lovely place and the price was amazing thankyou.

What a fabulous gem this place is with such beautiful streets colourful.. really comfy bed some bottles of wine you can purchase at an extra cost if you want them on suite shower toilet sofa coffee making facilities a mixture of different tea and a toaster. What more can you ask for for the grand price of €27 for the night with a rooftop jacuzzi to boot. I was gobsmacked on the price I'll be staying again or I might move in for life save me alot of money 💰 🤑

Telephone number for host isn't useful as he will only communicate through the portal. Promise of contact on day of entry came and went and I only received check in instruction after making further contact to host when we arrived. Previous holidaymakers have left comments regarding the shower/electrical switches, cleaning and suchlike, seemingly to no avail. For information, the hot tub is shared with other properties. I sent host a message (below) with some comments regarding my intention to review, no response 26 hours later. Good morning, that's our stay over, thankyou. I will leave review, but wished to take the opportunity to point out to you first? You have a nice, spacious studio in a beautiful location that could be perfect vacation accommodation. The studio has been nicely fitted out, however it seems previous reviews concerning the bathroom and general cleaning have not been noted or actioned. The bathroom shower was quite rightly viewed as disgusting and the shower head holder is still broken, the privacy glass should extend to the roof as the property opposite has full view into the studio bathroom. The bed should have a mattress protector. Your cleaners are not providing a good service to you, dishes and cutlery were filthy, light switches unclean and one faulty- again remarked on by previous guests. The rooftop bin was full on our arrival and remains so now. The hottub water was clean enough for use, but the tub itself is in dire need of attention. I have photos should you require. With the needed care and attention, you could have a real jewel of a holiday flat that we would love to return to, I trust you read my comments in the genuine regard and wish you good day.

Studio is in a beautiful location, is well fitted out and has a fantastic rooftop view.

Some guy entered my room in the middle of the night. I was sleeping and was terrified. Didn't sleep the rest of the evening. Sent a message to the owner who didn't even bother to reply. Not a safe place if you are alone.

Very tired looking. Bathroom very tired, dodgy light switch, broken handle on under sink cupboard, poorly finished sealant around the shower tray. Only one armchair - photos of the room were creative so that it looked like a small sofa. One of us had to sit on a hard dining room chair each evening. No tea towel for the kitchenette.

Very clean and well designed small studio. The facilities and location are perfect for a short stay. The owner was very kind, left a welcome gift and was very helpful and informative. I highly recommend this place and will definitely book again when in Malta.
