Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Beautiful apartment, equipped with everything you need. Very good location, close to bus stops, the beach and restaurants. Very good contact with the owners, they responded quickly to messages. We will definitely come back here again.

Apartment modern, very clean and as described. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Very close to small supermarket and all the restaurants in Marsalforn. We visit Gozo every year and this was by far the best apt we’ve stayed in! Will definitely visit again.

One recommendation - you can change the coffee machine with Nespresso compatible one, because it was difficult to find capsules for Lavazza a Modo mio system.
Caroline is very friendly and helping, she has given us all the info needed for check-in/check-out, as well as has answered to all our questions. Definitely recommend this apartment if you have decided to stay in Marsalforn :)

Absolutely perfect. The apartment is extremely comfortable and well equipped. They really have thought of everything. The hosts have tastefully decorated the apartment and added little touches everywhere to ensure an amazing stay. The location is great, just a few minutes walk away from everything Marsalforn has to offer. Caroline was very quick to respond to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Gozo.

Marsalforn Luxurious Apartments was absolutely perfect for our family while travelling from Australia. Very clean, very spacious, excellent facilities (especially the washing machine & drier!) and in a great location, walking distance to the beach & restaurants.

The property was welcoming from the start. The hosts left us some things in the kitchen, cleaning detergents and also some throw overs. It is truly luxurious and very comfortable to stay in.

The apartment is very well kept and we had everything that one would require when staying at home! Minor things, such as availability of salt and pepper, cooking oil, etc. made life so much easier. We travelled with a toddler and the hosts provided us with a choice of cots and even toys! The apartment has everything that one might require.
