Friendly welcome from Maureen who was really helpful and looked after us all week. Great breakfast, fantastic roof terrace with plunge pool. Excellent location with nearby ferry to Valletta. Rooms have everything you need and are super clean and comfortable.

Renovated building, with a nice interior. Large room, with all the necessary comfort. Exemplary cleanliness, white towels and linen, bathrobes. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful view from the roof, where the pool is located. The location is good, very close to the bus station and the ferry terminal to Valletta.

Lovely, personal small hotel in a quiet but central location. Fantastic to have the rooftop pool and terrace with beautiful views over the city. Breakfast is great! But the absolute best thing about the hotel is the staff. Maureen and her colleagues really looked after us, gave us excellent recommendations and helped us with all our questions. We felt very welcomed 😊

This is the second time we have stayed at Casa Birmula, and we were not disappointed. The hotel is situated in an ideal location for public transport, including buses and the ferry to Valletta. The buffet style breakfast has plenty of choice with sausages, bacon, beans, ham, cheese, fresh fruit together with a selection of local bread. Eggs are cooked as requested, and we can recommend the scrambled eggs. We also enjoyed using the roof terrace for relaxing after a day of visiting the sites Malta has to offer. We are hoping to return again later this year. The staff are all very helpful and polite.

Had a wonderful 2 nights stay at casa birmula the staff are super friendly and attentive. The hotel is very well equipped with everything you need. The breakfast was also great and having the rooftop pool really was the icing on the cake

Welcoming staff who knew what we needed. Most comfortable hotel/villa bed I've slept in for a long time. A mini bar (a sadly increasingly rare occurrence). A swimming pool with a view (though a bit on the small size). Will certainly look to book next time we go to Malta and stay for longer next time.

The hotel was in the most perfect position - just a quick ferry ride into Valetta. The ferry was only 3.80 euros return and that included the lift up and down to upper Barraka. Lots of restaurants around the marina near the hotel. Breakfast included. It was just perfect! It was fab having the little pool to cool off!

It was one of the most pleasant stays! The staff was more than friendly and welcoming, the location was ideal for what we wanted to do and just brief 5 min walk to the ferry to Valetta. Breakfast was delicious and it had a lot of variety. Plus the rooftop offered a very nice view. Thank you and if we ever come back in Malta we will definetely return here!

The hotel was beautiful in every way,the welcome of Maureen was so lovely.the staff were wonderful.our room was exceptionaly clean it was spacious lots of cupboard space,tea making,a coffee machine , little extras the bed was very comfortable.extra bonus was a water dispenser outside our room for fresh cold water.breakfast perfect lots of variety,& hot if you wanted it,various egg dishes on request,pool towels provided,.pool was small but serves the purpose of cooling down really lovely & lovely area to sunbathe,shade if you wanted it it.the hotel was beautifuly furnished.in every part,lots of steps to keep fit☺️ but a small lift to use. 5 minutes walk to the marina & restaurants.loved very minute of our stay it was wonderful.would recommend it ,the 3 cities is a really lovely city not to busy with tourist.

We stayed one night and that was perfect for not having natural lighting from a window, however if I was staying a few day's I do not think I would like not having a window. this is my personal preference. I loved everything else about our room it was beautiful and luxurious.

Our room was so unusual, there were no windows for natural light however there was double glass doors opening out onto an indoor balcony overlooking the beautiful & quirky lobby.

We loved the location, perfect - close to the ferry to Valletta, also a bus stop nearby. The pool was great, a lovely refresh on the hot days with a great view. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had an awesome breakfast - the best omelettes! Thank you Maureen, Mariella and team for a lovely stay.

Not a big thing but our room was very small for a week stay . Did not realise when booking . Mdina room . Wardrobe not full length so could not hang dresses for party we were attending . Maybe only a couple of night stay for this room . Maybe mention on the hotel info . Did not detract from an amazing stay .
