Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomIt needed a bit of maintenance , broken drawers in bedrooms and kitchen ., shower head in bathroom broke too ..kettle didn't switch of itself .. some rooms not too clean . Needed a few homely touches and seating outside on balconies.. there was no welcome pack which would have been nice as arrived late in the evening so some milk would have been nice.. etc
I liked the space , and lay out of the home .. ... and in a quiet area ...

United Kingdom*The WASHING MACHINE does not work. Issue was brought up but no help given. Massive inconvenience for our 10 days stay. *Water pressure in main bath tub is extremely weak. *Some cleaning products should be supplied as a courtesy to your guests. There's no bath mat or a kitchen towel (these things cost nothing but make life so much easier). *Food left in the fridge from previous guests.
*In the heart of a lovely fishing Village. Well connected by bus to any area in Malta. Only 15 min from the Airport. *The house is huge.

United KingdomAlthough we didn’t spend that much time seated it could have done with a fan in the main seating area/kitchen to help circulate air. Was a bit stuffy and hot due to the weather being hot and humid.
Very roomy property, comfortable and clean. Super bedrooms with air conditioning.

MaltaThe house was very very dirty, the house was not up to date and very run down. Door knobs broken or fallen off, we went to open the sofa to watch some tv and at the back you just see dirt and dead insects. The rooms were infested with ants everywhere on the floor on the bedside table etc. The sponges that were left in the kitchen weren't even new so we couldn't even wash anything properly as they smelled really bad. And the main area didn't even have an ac. If tourists had booked this place for more than a week, it just would have been unhabitable. Last thing, water was ice cold, even with the pump on.
The area where the house is was very peaceful and had easy access to cafes and the market.

United KingdomStaying at Casa del Mare was fantastic! The house was very clean, modern and had tons of space for everyone. Plus, being close to the charming fishing village added to the experience. Nigel's boat charter was the highlight of our trip - exploring the coastline and fishing spots was unforgettable & and must-do while in Malta! I'd definitely recommend to others 😊
