Nothing was out of place, but there were some minor things. Furniture is a bit outdated (still in good condition though), hair drier in our room worked for a couple of minutes before overheating and turning off, but the weather was hot enough for it to not bother us. Bathroom mirror had a lighting, but it didn't work. Doors are thin, so we did hear everything going on in the halls (but surprisingly not from the other rooms), and with early check-outs it can wake one up. One suggestion for the hotel's upgrade: drying racks in the rooms, it's a seaside city after all and to have a place to dry swimsuits seems like a must.

The hotel is a very good place for it's price. Staff is exceptional, very polite, friendly, helpful. Breakfast is great too, beside english breakfast every day different dessert, fruits and pastries, good start of every vacation day. Rooftop lounge is really nice, very good prices and enormous portions. Rooms are clean and room service is invisible in a good way. Also AC is a big plus, works fast and almost silent, but you have to play with the controls to get it to your liking.

The room was like a dungeon, there is not a single window in where daylight can be seen..(at least in my room).... therefore I was feeling like in a trap...

Cerviola has two hotels in Málta, we went to The one in Marsaskala and when we arrived they put us in The other hotel. The Sand Dune. It was really nice hotel, but came unexpectedly

I had the unpleaseant experience that i came after long trip at midnight just to foun my room was not ready jet so i had to sleep with my kids and family in another place crossing the street,next day we got our room. All 8 nigts and 9 days the garbage of the room wasnt cleaned up, all dirty glasses or cups weren't cleaned or changed, and i had to ask to make the refill of the shower gel, they only will give you 1 key, and the beds can be replaced they were way to soft, I guess 3 stars hotel is good enough.

Breakfast is good enough even tho the instalations are way to small for all the people were there some of them they had to wait outside until someone was done. The swiming pool and the Roof lounge restaurant is really good and you have excellent attention which by the way they aren't part of the hotel, they rent the area. Location is really good.

Initially was allocated totally unacceptable room with no sitting area, no balcony and only a small window looking out to a wall. After a couple of days I complained and it was replaced without a problem but these inadequate rooms should not be used. No pools towels available. Breakfast time was bedlam.

Very clean, lovely public areas, good breakfast, helpful friendly staff. Powerful showers and plenty hot water. Food in bar was good quality.

Check in was slightly cumbersome, This could be due to us having so many people checking in at the same time but every person had to fill in a card and provide a copy of their passport so it took a long time in a big group.

Hotel was clean and modern in hall ways, bedrooms and bathrooms. Pool on the rooftop was clean and clear and there were plenty of sunbeds to lay on. Staff were friendly and helped us with our room queries efficiently and without any issues whatsoever. The price was super reasonable for the stay and the drinks in the bar. Breakfast was fab - a great range of good quality food.

The room doors are very noisy, even when being very careful, it is not possible to open and close silently so you can hear people going in and out all the time.

The hotel is cute and clean, and the staff are very kind. Breakfast was delicious and suitable for many types of diets. They offer a free stay for kids, but they don't provide an extra bed. We explained that this wasn't an option for us, as our child moves a lot during the night and can't sleep in the same bed with us. They kindly offered us an apartment with two bedrooms at the same price, highly appreciated! Thank you!

At the reception on the first day, the girls were very nice, kind, courteous, and helpful. Unfortunately, the boys (especially the one with the white shirt and who is a bit short) were rude; they didn’t return the greeting and were not welcoming. Even when I took the first step, they still didn’t greet me when I said hello. It was clear that he was annoyed by my presence and that of my friend. They should not be at the reception because the foundation of a reception job is to be welcoming and make guests feel good. Since all the other services are excellent, I do not recommend them for the reception.

The facility was beautiful and clean. The room was cozy, and the cleaning staff was excellent. The staff at breakfast was helpful, kind, and very professional. However, only the girls at the reception were professional, kind, and courteous. The men at the reception were not welcoming and didn’t even respond to a simple “hello”!
