Giancarlo was a great host, made us welcome from arrival, his breakfast was always plentiful and very tasty 😋. Our room was spacious with a great balcony and view. The location was very good with a short walk to Xaghra with all its lovely bars and restaurants. The pool area was peaceful with an excellent pool with the added convenience of a well stocked honesty bar. Lghorfa is a beautiful, rustic farmhouse with lots of charm including its owner, Giancarlo. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Awesome place with awesome hosts. Giancarlo made our trip with his friendliness, funny stories and his delicious home-made croissants. Room was great, had all of the toiletries you’ll ever need and a stunning view of Victoria with neighboring villages. You can even see the fireworks that locals light up in the evenings. Home owners were the nicest people, were always here to help us and even gave us hugs when we were leaving. Thank you for making our trip so much better!

Facilities could benefit from updating.

A character home located in a charming Gozo town. Very friendly and kind hosts. We had the twin bedroom on the top floor which had a lovely and very scenic private terrace. The homemade breakfast was delicious.

Nice location near Xaghra square with nice restaurants, stunning view from the terrace, lovely pool area and great breakfasts (especially home made croissants!) made our stay in L'Ghorfa a perfect holidays. The main area does have a smell of smoke. Some of the terrace furniture could be updated (e.g. umbrella and the lounger needs a cushion). But these are small things which didn't really bother me too much.

I picked the twin room for the terrace. Which didn't disappoint!! The terrace gave the best views and privacy I've ever experienced in a hotel/B&B. I spent a lot of time here just relaxing, reading etc. Perfect if you want somewhere fabulous to rest and rejuvenate. In the summer I can imagine it would be very hot there in the afternoons but morning and evening would be great. Giancarlo picked me up from the ferry terminal and took me back there which was super convenient. I loved the area, authentic, fewer tourists and a great town square with locals and visitors all enjoying good food and a relaxed vibe. Breakfast was great, so much food!! Giancarlo certainly knows how to feed his guests :)

We loved L'Ghorfa! Gorgeous view, beautiful pool, absolutely perfect location for exploring Gozo, with plenty of bars and restaurants in the attractive nearby square. Wonderfully quiet and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast was amazing! GianCarlo and Pamela couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. We were having a trip to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary and our hosts spoiled us and made it feel very special. We had a fantastic time and we thoroughly recommend L'Ghorfa.

All of it, just all of it. I had such a great time in a beautiful place with the lovely people Giancarlo, Pam and Barbara. Our stay in this extraordinary house was wonderful. From the first evening we felt welcomed, we got a welcome drink, we got to know the other guests and the security cats Ginger Speedy and Benito :) The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom, we could count on daily cleaning. The host offered us umbrellas and fins for the beach, which we didn't use, but it was a nice addition. The most important thing is breakfast! we have never eaten better croissants than those baked by Giancarlo! Delicious breakfasts, local cheeses and meats and, above all, you can see the heart put into every detail. Pam (nickname Disaster:) was very helpful and informed us about attractions taking place nearby, for which we are very grateful. The atmosphere was pleasant and idyllic. We couldn't have chosen a better hotel. Thank you and hope to see you soon.

The marvellous owner Giancarlo was very kind and helpful plus made wonderful breakfasts. We also got to try some of his famous homemade croissants which are superb!! The B&B is also a short distance from Victoria and there is also a local bus every hour.

The stay with Giancarlo and Pam (nicknamed Disaster ;)) was a ten out of ten. The two are very warm and humorous people. We felt absolutely welcome and at home. Our room was large and comfortable, including a balcony and a great view. The location is central, not far from several good restaurants. We could reach all places by bus and walk to Viktoria. The breakfast and the selection of drinks is also wonderful. Thanks to Giancarlo, Pam and the cats Ginger, Speedy and Benito for the lovely time. We would love to come back.

Unfortunately the swimming pool and garden area weren’t as well kept as the pictures. The pool was cloudy which meant we didn’t want to swim in it and some of the surrounding chairs were broken. Unfortunately the umbrellas had all broken in a storm before we arrived. Because of the pool and the lack of umbrellas we ended up going to the beach everyday and renting umbrellas there.

The owners of the property are lovely people who make you feel very welcome. Giancarlo’s home made croissants are very delicious.

Very nice and well appointed property. Quiet atmosphere and inviting swimming pool. Excellent view of Victoria Cathedral from balcony, which was lit up at night. Helpful owners who were able to provide good advice and also a wonderful breakfast each morning.

Incredible pool, breakfast, host and service was above and beyond. Lovely location to explore the island from and the shared balcony was lovely to enjoy a beer from the (really cheap) honesty bar and watch the sunset. Loved our stay and would love to come back and see Giancarlo and the cats again!

We loved everything about L’Ghorfa! Our host Giancarlo was amazing - nothing was too much trouble. He made the best breakfast and totally entertained us. The house is charming and rustic but has everything you need and the pool is gorgeous. Bonus - 3 beautiful cats in the garden.

Nothing at all!

We loved the location, the house and most especially the hospitality of Giancarlo and Pamela. They are warm, helpful friendly and happy to make recommendations. They really make you really feel like home in a spectacular place. The views from balconies are unparalleled, especially the sunsets! The delectable breakfast ( especially the croissants) were a great way to start the mornings and Giancarlo also makes a killer Negroni. The friendly outdoor cats are adorable, the pool the perfect size for a refreshing swim in the heat. The beds are comfortable, the AC great , the bathrooms clean and the location is close to the town square where you can find restaurants, pubs and grocery stores. The temple ruins are a short walk and a must see. Nothing is a problem for the hosts and every slight question we had was easily answered . We spent 5 nights there and L’gohfra will always be a special memory for our family.

Property with a soule, felt comfortable as in our own house also great view from balcony. Every morning we could taste freshly made croissants made by Giancarlo. Must have!!!

Anita and Giancarlo could not have been better hosts. The room was very well appointed with a fabulous veranda outside with incredible views over Victoria. The Breakfast was exceptional, with Giancarlo's homemade Croissants daily! They also provided towels for the lovely pool and if you needed to borrow any snorkels or flippers they were also available. Nothing was too much hassle for them and they really were exceptionally kind and generous hosts. I will definitely be returning and could not recommend L'Ghorfa more.

Nothing. Only spoiled by some other guests who were very demanding and found lots to complain about. Shameful that they gave a score of 1, after all the effort Anita and Giancarlo made for them. Fortunately there were also some other lovely guests during our 9-night stay.

A great beautiful home with a warm welcome from Anita and Giancarlo. A comfortable spacious room with fabulous views across to Victoria. Enjoyed using the pool every day and walking into the square for the bars and restaurants. It was great to be back!
