There were not many bathrooms and staff were not very good at communicating.

I was missing a shelf. I had to sleep with my phone on top bed because i had no place to put it. Told the stuff, they said that they could not do anything about it.

During the day it was very hot and the AC unit was only turn on at night at 11 pm and turn of early in the morning.

The gentleman that clean seem very passionate about getting the place tidy. The volunteers were really nice. This would been a perfect stay if they had fans available during the day.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hostel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. The location is convenient, and the facilities were well-maintained. It truly felt like a home away from home. i really miss my those days.❤️

The building is quite old and the soundproofing isn’t great, you can hear everything. I had an issue with one of the doors because the lock was old, I ended up locked out for two hours at 4am, I had to wake people up due to the noise 😓 there are only four bathrooms for the entire building.

Pricy for a 12 bulk beds. Verry small rooms for 12 persons breathing the existent oxigen în the room. I can't imagine staying there în the winter. For us worked only with windows open even if that meant very big flow of air for the beds on the direction of the door.

Hostel on feels like a family and is friendly, you feel at home, the people are outgoing and polite, the host welcomed me really well, she is funny and helpful with everything.

I received to late the email with the checklist of check-in just in the morning of the check-in. Be aware you need an UK adapter ,a lock and you need to rent a towel if you don't have one. If I had get the email with this information earlier I could have been prepared with all those items. The kitchen misses a kettle and a toaster. Small things that could easily improve the experience in the hostel.

There's a vast number of long term residents from America Latina, who are very friendly people and turn the vibe of the hostel very good. I even had the chance of hangout with them.

The only thing that we didn’t like is that you can not turn on the AC before 10 PM, which we weren’t aware of and we didn’t read in the information.

The beds, very hard to get on and off, really instable. People were loud when others were trying to sleep.

Sometimes it is difficult to locate staff if you have a query in person, but if you wait long enough you will find one eventually.

The property is well located in Selima, 200m from the sea and in easy walking distance to the port, restaurants and shops. The hostel itself is spotlessly clean with a dedicated cleaner who appears to leave no stone unturned in his cleaning. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The roof and lower garden are a lovely added bonus.

We really didn’t like how staff entered the room without knocking at all. We were a room full of three girls and male staff would walk in completely unannounced which we found baffling. The air conditioning situation was also not good. We were written a note saying that due to official Malta rules we could not have air conditioning on after 9am and before 11pm. 11pm is far too late as the rooms were often even hotter than outside at 30 degrees. When we asked they said we could have AC on from 10pm, showing us that these weren’t ’Official Malta Rules’. We understand not having AC on when we’re out of the rooms, but bearing in mind the heat this caused a lot of discomfort for all of us.

The location was perfect and the building beautiful. Really well decorated and such friendly staff. Our room was perfect as well and we loved the kitchen/ patio area.
