As a Boutique Hotel I would have expected not to have families with small kids who can become a bit of a nuisance especially in the pool area but either than that everything was ok.

The room and pretty much everywhere was clean.Restaurant is very good and the location is awesome.Pool is on the small side but very pleasant with part of it with jacuzzi.

Perfect location, quiet, yet minutes from bars and restaurants. Comfortable bed, room serviced every day, spotless. Breakfast was cooked fresh every morning, plentiful, delicious. Rooftop pool was a bonus, great views,clean. Great for early morning swim. Open till 7pm. Great staff, nothing too much trouble. Loved it so much, extended our stay. Highly recommend, will be back.

Il-Logga is situated at the edge of the small town/village of Xaghra and is a very safe walk into the village, where there are some really excellent restaurants. There is an hourly bus service to Victoria from where the bus services for the island run. There is also a 'direct' bus to the ferry port from the village. I say direct because nothing on Gozo is actually direct, but it is a handy way to get around. The hotel describes itself as a boutique hotel. There is a restaurant where breakfast and dinner are served, which has a bar as part of the room., but this was closed when we got in at night, so there was no late night drink. The staff are really lovely and were very helpful when we had a mini crisis during our stay. The rooms are lovely, with balconies or terraces. The room was always perfectly serviced every day and there were tea and coffee making facilities too. Our terrace was a nice space to have a glass of wine in the evening. The roof top pool is small, with views of the island. We ate in the restaurant on one night and the food was very good and the service excellent. The menu on the website is the one they use, although they do have some specials depending on supply (It's an island). Breakfast was a bit of a curiosity and it took us a couple of days to figure out. As the hotel is small, 12 rooms, and to avoid waste, you order your breakfast the night before (by 11.30pm). You tick boxes to choose items from various categories of food. Once you figure this out, this is grand, but the issue is that the number of items you can select is small and the portions are huge. For example, if you are ordering bacon, they list it a 7 slices, just too much for one person and the fruit salad is enough for 3 or 4 people. In the end, we pooled our ordering, so I ordered the yoghurt and he ordered the fruit and we shared. The kitchen was very supportive of the gluten free diet with fresh bread rolls every morning.

Breakfast was excellent but far too much of it. The room was very good too. It was clean but the shower was not clean at the bottom and one of the coffe cups seemed as though it had not been washed. The toilet paper was far too thin. From a boutique hotel I would have thought 4-ply paper would have been more appropriate. The gentleman serving breakfast is an asset to the hotel. He was polite and extremely helpful.

Everything was good.

The room was very clean with a comfy bed and excellent shower. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. The hotel was in a good location as it was only 10 minutes walk to the main square. We ate in the hotel restaurant twice and the food was exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool is a very nice feature which we used several times.
