Very nice big hotel territory, variety of restaurants and bars. Roof top part with pool is a great place to spend time during the day. Breakfast was very good, a lot of nice and testy dishes. A special recognition is to the Hotel Team. All requests are solved with a sped of light.

We didn’t like the aircon system. The room we were checked into had poor air circulation and mist created by 4 people having shower stayed in. Poor air extraction from the bathroom. Room itself and the beds were very comfortable. We were then upgraded to a much better room when this was mentioned. No problems. Hotel rooms probably need a bit of modernisation now but any negatives were quickly replaced by fantastic service by staff. Bravo….

Fantastic facilities with all the things you need within the hotel itself. Extremely polite and welcoming staff from the reception, room service to maintenance. Excellent breakfast buffet service with highly dedicated staff. Well done breakfast staff. Swimming pools indoors and outdoor were great with a Sonar. Easy access to outside facilities including shops, cinema and nightlife. Great restaurants within the hotel and restaurants of choice within walking distance. Great location.

swimming pool at 10th floor though it’s perfect just for kids it’s overcrowded. but the rooftop infinity pool is perfect.

We had an amazing experience, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Tamari, Dmytro, Zeljka and Katerina. Each of them played as key role in making our trip smooth, comfortable and truly enjoyable. The staff who work at the hotel are absolutely exceptional, and they made our stay amazing! They paid great attention to detail, and especially Tamari (hopefully I spelled that correctly), a hostess at breakfast, was wonderful and the same goes for Pavel from the breakfast team. The truth is, the hotel is a bit outdated and could benefit from a major refurbishment, and the location on the party street isn’t ideal. However, the staff more than compensated for this, and the hotel management should be very proud of them!

The hotel is located in St. Julians which is a extremely busy area of Malta and probably more suited to people looking to go drinking and clubbing than for those looking for a relaxing holiday

The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ensuring our needs were taken care of. Check-in and check-out were seamless and hassle-free. Our room was spacious, well-maintained, and offered a lovely view of the courtyard and outdoor swimming pool. The hotel’s facilities are excellent, including both indoor and outdoor pools, a large gym, and a spa. There are also multiple dining options available on-site. A special thanks to the concierge team for their outstanding assistance.

InterContinental Malta exceeded my expectations in every way. The hotel is luxurious, clean, and perfectly located in the lively St. Julian’s area. My room was elegant and spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a balcony offering great views. The staff were outstanding — professional, friendly, and always willing to help. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options. The rooftop infinity pool and beach access added an extra touch of luxury to the stay. I would gladly return and highly recommend it for both business and leisure trips.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and its location in the heart of St. Julian's. The staff are incredibly kind, right from your welcome at the hotel door to the reception, the pool area, or the room service. They truly embody the Intercontinental name. In short, my stay was a perfect blend of luxury, elegance, comfort, and five-star service in every sense of the word.

If I have to pick at something I would say that under the pull out couch was dusty but was cleaned after noticing. Not much to say negatively as any issues are immediately and happily rectified.

Location was perfect, especially if you are looking for night life. Staff were great, room size was perfect, food was great and I loved having complimentary drinks and snacks in the evening. And no need to bring shampoo/conditioner, moisturizer etc, as it is provided, even toothbrushes and paste. I almost forgot, upon arriving we had a bouquet of flowers (not from hotel) and were provided with a vase. We were also surprised with a delicious cake for my daughter’s graduation (the reason we were there).

From before our arrival, Mina could not have been more helpful in assisting us arrange a room to suit our needs and placed us in a fabulous suite which was perfect in every way. Staff in the hotel, especially the Opal Lounge, were fabulous, especially Satya, Bipna, Robert and Momie, who looked after us so well over the week we stayed. It was easily the best family holiday we have ever had, and a large part of this was due to the care and hospitality of the staff, as well as the excellent food and facilities. As a family with three children aged 10-11, we were concerned before we arrived about how lively the area might be, but the hotel is so quiet we were completely insulated from the nearby clubs and bars. It was also so easy to walk to St Julian's and Sliema in the evening, or get taxis to and from Valletta. I couldn't recommend the hotel highly enough.

There is a restaurant at the beach and there is a dress code even for lunch. I think it is ok to have such for dinner but for lunch is a little bit inconvenient - you are at the beach and just want to go to eat something to the restaurant of the hotel you staying which is also on the very beach
