Unfortunately the flush of our toilet broke on the first day and even though we were told it would be fixed nothing happened during our stay. We managed by fixing it as good as we could ourselves but that is not the way it should be.

It’s a beautiful old house and the rooms are nicely decorated. Comfortable beds and good shower. The breakfast was great! Especially Eliana ( the girl on duty during breakfast) was very sweet and made us feel very welcome. Thank you 😊

Not enough hot water and it fluctuated all the time. Limited breakfast, with little variety, and on the second day there was no milk (which we consider a basic item for breakfast). Breakfast and check-out times a little early (until 10am).

We felt like we were in a typical Maltese house. We were in the Cotoner Suite, a large room with a very comfortable bed, a beautiful bathroom and a balcony overlooking the street. Beautiful common areas (kitchen, breakfast room). Friendly and attentive staff. It was easy to park nearby and the location is strategic: a short walk to the ferry to Valetta and a great starting point for exploring Birgu on foot.

The WiFi, luckily we had own own data, but WiFi did not work in our top suite neither did it work in the kitchen at all. Definitely change the WiFi or something for others can use.

Very big and spacious rooms, with own bathroom and toilet. The kitchen was nice, big and the rooftop was the highlight of the stay. Lovely big rooftop with two different seating areas. Thank you the lovely lady that served us breakfast each day, Eliana. She was very kind and asking what we need and cleaned our rooms after we left for our day trips.

Hot water takes long to start showering. Waste of cold water. A circulating pump in the hot water system would save on lost cold water.

I didn't like the fact that we entered the room at 2am due to flight times. The lift exit was directly in the room which wasn't a problem at all. The problem was the fact that the room was in complete darkness. It was by accident feeling around the walls we came across the switch on the opposite side of the room. To look at it you wouldn't take it as a switch. Nice look though! Easy problem to rectify. Just turn a light on for night check-ins. WiFi did not work at all Shower should have some instructions on use. Impossible to get any hot water. Lovely bright bathroom.

We are used to sleep on a firm mattress. Unfortunately this one was too soft for us.

Spacious room with high ceiling. A beautiful balcony. Remote controlled air conditioner. Responsive host. 👍🏼 helped us with a late night check-in. Plus we had a problem with our fridge and the host gave us a new fridge in like 3 hours time. Perfect. Great location if you are using the three cities connection between Cospicua and Valletta.

That when I tried to contact the management, there was resounding silence.

There was little to like - cold showers in a smelly bathroom, no Wifi, lift not operational, no promised early breakfast, no responses to my communication once they had my payment, poor security with the front entrance open overnight, dusty room, rubbish behind grubby furniture, noisy A/C. What more could one want?

There is nothing positive to say about this accommodation. The worst thing is how we were treated. After we discovered the shortcomings listed below and wanted to contact the owners, I experienced something that I have never experienced before on any trip, with any provider and not in such a form. Very rude tone, no willingness to cooperate, suggest a solution or even attempt to explain on the part of the provider - instead they simply hung up in the middle of the conversation and after renewed attempts to reach someone (approx. 1h) I was again stalled and asked UNFRIENDLY to leave the premises! Such behavior is unacceptable! That alone deserves a very poor rating. The area itself is beautiful - and not particularly clean. The streets are full of cat and dog droppings and garbage, as was the entrance area of the hostel. There was also a strong smell of cat urine, which they tried to cover up with plenty of chlorine. The room that my wife and I booked for our last night of our vacation was inviting in itself - but sparsely furnished, with technology that didn't work and had a dirty floor full of long, black women's hair, and just like in the hallway, the room itself smelled strongly of cat urine and chemical cleaner.

No wifi connection at all (even after calling the contact person several times nobody came to our room in order to fix it). No info about how to operate AC. Not possible to switch on TV set. Broken lock on bathroom door, therefore it was not possible to close the door. No drinking glasses available in the room.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – A Perfect Stay! I stayed with my wife at this property in Malta a few days ago, and honestly, everything exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable – exactly what you'd want after a day exploring the island. The staff was friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. But the highlight for me was the breakfast – absolutely amazing! There was a great variety each morning. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. You could tell they put real care into it. It was the perfect start to each day. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back next time I’m in Malta.

WiFi was not working for the whole holiday. I tried to get in touch many times with someone responsible through the contact I was provided by Booking.com (email and WhatsApp) and directly through the lady who was preparing our breakfast. I did not receive any answer, and neither was the WiFi fixed. It was really disappointing and unprofessional. There was no hairdryer in the room.

The laundry room was beside our bedroom and washing machine was a bit noisy in the morning, and the air conditioning remote had no batteries.

We stayed in the top floor suite, room was big and comfortable, and the view was amazing! They also have a roof top from where you can see part of the Three cities and Valletta. Eliana was very kind and prepared a really nice breakfast for us both mornings.

Of 6 nights TV ( possibly also Wi-Fi) worked only on one night. At two nights total 2 coucrouches. Room changed. In first room no safe, half of lights in bathroom not working and its door could be repaired, in second room missing glass from balcony window, pretty cold. You get bit uninterested feeling of the e-management via messages. Some guests cooking at approx. 22 though kitchen as you get the impression from bookingcom that you could use it. You can hear it to room like in all other mediterranean Hotels. Carpets could be washed. Driver had seat not locked, so seat was swinging all the way from AirPort. Luckily no accident happened. Without the two coucrouches the stay would have been very good. But it costed extra: fuss stress day and money to preventive luggage cleaning partly paid from travel insurance as you didnt know if they were harmful ones and if there was a risk to spread them home. It broke the holiday feeling. Coming from north you are not used to such extra living creatures.

Excellent breakfast lady made you feel welcome and cooked good fried eggs and coffee. Helped with everything. Looks like in pictures. Nice area and friendly neighbours.

Nothing, everything was just perfect

It was such a wonderful stay. The bed was 10/10 - so comfy that it’s hard to get up in the morning even though you have all day planned for sightseeing. The view from the roof? Spectacular! It was also very calm and peaceful. No problem with parking next to the church. The building itself is also very beautiful and atmospheric. Very classy interior. Everything you need and more is provided. Stuff was very friendly, especially lady with black hair- always smiling :). Breakfast was nothing like on the photos, it was okay though. Definitely will be going back!
