It was very well located. The heat was really a bit to much so it was great that AC and a fan was available.

It's obvious that the toilet is separated from room 1 however, its not that obvious that the shower is IN the room about a meter away from the beds. Not the end of the world and didn't bother us but may be a problem for some others. Also no stove/cooker in the kitchen which would have been nice. Also not the quietest of places so if you're a light sleeper like me, definitely not the stay for you.

Comfortable beds and a clean room. Had everything you needed. Sacha and Mark are also lovely hosts and checked in on us during our stay.

Great location and facilities. Close to the centre of Birgu. We have friends in Birgu; we were within 5 minutes of their house. Communication with the hosts was easy; we had an issue with the operation of the ceiling fan, which was quickly resolved. Would stay there again and would highly recommend.

The windows are not very soundproof, so we heard the bread van and the church bells quite loudly in the morning. The ladder to the bed was quite steep. Operation times of public transport depend on the season.

I booked the place completely by chance and it turned out we were at one of the top locations. I was with my child, and I will never regret this choice – our stay was amazing. A big plus was that we found the place very easily and arrived early in the city. We were kindly allowed to leave our backpacks and luggage in the living room of the accommodation, which gave us the chance to enjoy the rest of the day stress-free. Be ready to carry your bags up a flight or more of stairs. The kitchen has limited cooking facilities (just a microwave) but good for making salads.

The location is excellent; in a quiet historic area with friendly people and close to some restaurants/bars. Just a short ferry ride to the more bustling city of Valletta. The hosts were also excellent; very responsive to queries. Mark checked with us to make sure all was well, arranged a change of linen half-way through our week long stay and gave us good tips for restaurants etc. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Great location, in the centre of lovely Birgu town. Very friendly owners, cafes nearby, few minutes to the nearest bus stop to Valetta. Close to the port.

The place is awesome and the hosts are very kind and attentive. The premises are beautiful, the bed is big and comfortable, and the shower and the toilet are very nice. There’s also air conditioning, and a very maltese and charming balcony. You really feel at home and welcomed in Birgu here. It’s just behind the main square of Birgu, and less than 5 minutes away from the water taxi stop at the harbour, so it’s very convenient to get quickly to Valletta.

Absolutely adorable house with unique interior. Neighborhood is peaceful and traditional, with beautiful houses in Malta style, and charming little shops with souvenirs and food specialties. Sea is only few minutes away, with boat rides to Valletta. Landlords were great, very thoughtful regarding all necessary information and help. Without even asking, they let us stay after check-out time, since our flight was later in the afternoon.

The warm water was not working, and on the last day our devices stopped charging at any current point in the airbnb. The hosts were also not very responsive on booking.

The road under the apartment is used and can be a bit noisy. Be prepared for a wakeup call from the bells. The water pressure in the shower is not great. But all of that is tolerable.

An old, traditional Maltese house, completely renovated and well maintained, reflects the spirit of Malta. The most original house I've ever stayed in! In the heart of a place that is magical and where there are very few tourists. You will get along with its owners quickly and easily.
