This is certainly not just a regular hotel. The historical building, the gorgeous rooms, the lovely breakfast and the very friendly and competent staff makes this one of the best hotels we‘ve ever been at. The location is perfect to visit the three cities and Valletta.

Can't rate the hotel highly enough to be honest. From the very outset the hotel was exceptional. Nice cold beer provided in arrival. We were offered a free upgrade which was much appreciated and both the room and the view were incredible. The room was beautiful, the high stone ceilings, the tiled floor and the decor were just perfect and really made the stay special. The roof top terrace has the most amazing view and was the perfect spot to enjoy the sun after a morning exploring. The location is perfect, Birgu is stunning and you're just an short ferry ride to Valetta. The staff couldn't be more friendly, helpful and down to earth.

Well located hotel in heart of Birgu/Vittoriosa; penthouse suite was perfect with great views of marina. Roof top pool and jacuzzi were excellent with reasonably priced cocktails :-) Staff were also very helpful and efficient.....

The property was beautifully new and comfortable, but more importantly the staff was excellent. We felt as though we were the only guests in the hotel with how attentive the staff was towards our comfort and trip. They truly went above and beyond.

The hotel is located in a beautiful location with stunning views. We arrived really early and were greeted by the manager Adrian who was so helpful and hospitable, treating us to a nice glass of Prosecco. Rooms are normally ready at 3pm. We were called at 11.30am to say our room was ready. The room was absolutely beautiful with vaulted ceilings, spacious bathroom with an excellent shower and loads of toiletries. The tea and coffee making facilities were superb, also a well stocked mini bar along with snacks. The room featured a lovely balcony with great views. The bed was extremely comfortable. The crowning glory of this delightful hotel has to be the roof terrace. It features a great pool, hot tub and shower. Sun beds, deckchairs and seating area with soft towels provided. Food and drinks can easily be ordered using the phone on the terrace. The views from the roof were spectacular and we spent the entire afternoon up there, it was so relaxing. There’s loads of nice bars and restaurants all within a short walk. As we only stayed one night we didn’t sample the food here but from what I saw it looked delicious. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. When we come back to Malta we would love to spend longer here.

It was all fine.

A historic building, full of grand character, set near the waterfront in the Birgu part of the Three Cities, with a rooftop pool with stunning views. A lovely relatively quiet location to walk around without the crowds of elsewhere. And yet the ferry to Valletta is still close. Nice attentive staff keen to help. Nice a la carte breakfast with unusual specialties. Lots to recommend here.
