There could have been more options for breakfast

They handled everything perfectly. The room was very nice, the location is ideal in Valletta and the staff is very kind and helpful!

Location, the roof top bar and general appearance of the hotel.

Room was tad small but thats to be expected in a city like Valletta and the fabulous outside space more than made up for it! Also the hot water takes a very long time to come through and bathroom floor floods

The feeling of living in the building which belonged to some knight (probably), touch of long history. Perfect location for the people who love exploring the town by foot. Amazing view from the rooftop. Very attentive staff. Overall, we made a good choice be selecting Palazzo Ignazio.

A little boring choice of food for breakfast, but since we had a wide selection of different food in town, breakfast was not important. But all food offered in the morning was always fresh and of good quality.

Lovely staff and perfect location within walking distance of everything

Excellent location. Staff were excellent, breakfast very good. Very good aircon conditioning. Roof top views amazing.

Understand it’s a very old property. But some of the cleanliness could be better. Like the bathrooms and soft furnishings. Also understand that the streets are very narrow and you can hear the traffic etc. the hotel does supply some ear plugs for this. However This street noise is the same throughout all of Valletta. The balconies could have a bit more privacy with the next door room.

I was received by Suman who looked after me when I came out of hours way before my check-in. What a beautiful soul. Angelique and Suman were genuinely sincere from the start to the end and I felt so looked after. This hotel is really lovely and the room is quite large and very nice. It has the best rooftop sunset view in Valetta. This is definitely a boutique stay. I was surrounded by picturesque sea views, restaurants, entertainment and churches!!!

Didn’t stay long enough

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Modern rooms with comfortable firm bed and pillows. Got an early check-in. AC and TV worked normally (as they should).

One staff member unexpectedly said that management had told him to look around the room (when I hadn't reported any problems) but didn't say what he was looking for. He came in, looked around for <1 minute, and then left. Can't help feel that I was being checked upon! Window curtains/blinds didn't fit the window and so bright light woke me up in the morning earlier than I had wanted to. Shower area door was not flush with floor and so water from shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. No spa facilities.

Thank you for upgrading me to sea view! Best way to finish my Malta tour. The view from the rooftop terrace was amazing. Very nice and helpful staff in reception, cafe and rooftop restaurant, it was a pleasure. Super location in old town, close to everything: view points, museums, eateries, hop-on-hop off bus, walking distance to bus station. Very comfortable rooms in very nice design.
