How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. There was a locked door in our room, apparently it was connecting another room next to us. We were able to hear everything the other guy was talking on the phone constantly

The facilities at Park Heights were very nice, especially the pool area at the roof. The rooms were everything we needed and the staff was very friendly.

The air conditioner wasn’t cooling but we’ve found a way to fix it. The neighbors next door were a bit loud (a group of Italian teenagers) which was a bit unfortunate. The deposit of €100 is required upon checking in, and if you come from Europe mainland make sure you bring an adapter, as the hotel doesn’t rent those and you’ll need to buy one.
Good value for money, the apartment is spacious and well equipped.

Unfortunately the property is right at one of the busiest traffic junctions of the whole island. It can get pretty loud. The hospital is also not far away so you constantly hear the ambulance. If you’re a light sleeper this can pretty annoying.
Great hospitality, rooms are brand new, clean and pretty spacious. Bus stop right in front of the building.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The building is modern and attractive, with fresh renovations and a cozy atmosphere inside. Great location — everything you need is close by. The staff were especially impressive: friendly, responsive, and quick to help with any issues. You can really feel they care about their guests. Highly recommend and definitely will back)

Only thing is the rates, but again, Malta and summertime... it is what it is.
Absolutely LOVELY hotel with even more amazing staff, specially in the reception! I have nothing to complain about, ( or you always want it to be a bit cheaper though but ...;) ) Brand new building and pool on the roof, great food, lovely service, cleaning perfect - big apartments with kitchen possibilities, balconies and again - LOVELY staff! Highly recommend! AND not forget .... pet-friendly! Which me and my Dog was more than happy about, GREAT initiative to understand the value in that, specially in Malta!

Keeping the doors open is a bit noisy due to the traffic around the hotel, the attitude of 1 waiter, who was extremely rude
The apartment was remarkable, beds a dream, the balcony all around the apartment, staff in general very friendly, the food in the restaurant great, great views, perfect location to get around

Quite industrial views around it
We had the room with the kitchen - well equipped for simple meals. Staff very friendly. The rooftop pool area is lovely. Gym was amazing and cool equipment. Didn't have any quirky character but was very clean, functional and exactly as it looks.

Location is above a busy traffic island, but even seaside hotels can suffer from traffic noise in this area.
Smart, well appointed studio. Smart TV with iPlayer channels. Efficient lift, nice roof terrace, very good sandwich shop downstairs. Walking distance to hospital and university.

The room needs more lighting, it's a little dark.

Noisy surroundings, leaky windows, first night we couldnt fall asleep long hours. Uncomfortable mattresses and pillows.
Beautiful interior design, spacious and tidy. Equipped kitchen, plates, pan, etc. Towels dryer in bathroom. Nice swimming pool zone on top of the roof. Near hotel all bus stops to reach any Malta place

I was charged 100 euro as a deposit which wasn't even mentioned on booking - so this is a heads-up for you! During my stay Wi-Fi was not stable. Only it wasn't working at all which was frustrating because I had to work. The hotel is located remotely from the inner city. There are several buses heading there but it's a pity to lose time waiting for them to arrive. Bolt works just fine, though. I was missing some paper towels or napkins, considering there was a full-packed kitchen. There were no slippers, the floor was cold with no carpet. The gym looks very fancy but if you're into a serious hypertrophy training it hasn't much to offer. The restaurant on the rooftop was impressive but in the end I was fooled into paying for two beers instead of one ordered. The explanation of the waiter was "when our guests get one beer (250 ml) they get frustrated how little that is. So we only sell them in two bottles. I agreed with my manager on that". Cool, right?
The room is huge and looks perfect and brand new. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. They even provided me with an adaptor for the socket. Stunning views from the gym and the restaurant on the rooftop.
