Immaculate apartment, with great facilities. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and very flexible with regards to letting us use the facilities after checking out and our late flight. The staff got us a great deal on a hire car for 3 days. Facilities- lovely rooftop pool with a view of the marina, as well as an air conditioned relaxation room with vending machine, TV and games facilities. Brilliant gym with plenty of free weights and a very cleverly designed 10 function cable machine. Allin excellent condition. CV machines too. We we given great advice on the best beaches and attractions by the hotel staff, who were all fantastic. Malta itself was beautiful- Valetta, St Thomas Bay, Ghadira beach, Golden Bay, to the fish market at Marsaxlokk fish market, all brilliant. Firework displays, jetskis, 'total wipeout beach inflatable course,' carnivals, Golden sand beaches, amazing local food dishes, historical fortifications, cathedrals, tours- it's all in Malta A hire car is a must for some of the beaches, but the buses and 'Bolt' taxis are excellent for the main area. Food and drink prices incredibly reasonable- even in the centre of Valetta and the historic fort. Amazing weather.

We had a hopless view from our appartment although we had a room on the first floor - the windows overlooked a closed courtyard; we could see only the apartment across from us, not pleasant. Next time we would choose the upper floors. The water in the pool was very cold for a few days when it got a bit cooler outside (about 25, 28 degrees of air). Sometimes it was hard to find a sunbed because of the number of guests. There was no bar by the pool.

The service was very polite and helpful. We had a quiet appartment, well equipped, with the facilities we needed. We didn't want to use the restaurant so we were preparing the meals ourselves and everything we needed was at hand. Fine air conditioning, comfy beds, good Wi-Fi. The location was fantastic, in the middle of the town, next to many cafes and restaurants, and about 10 minute-walk to the clean but rocky beaches with clean, warm waters. Beautiful views. Daily shopping was a pleasure because there are many convenient shops and greengrocers around, the Italian meat shop opposite to the appartments (a fantastic one). The pool was clean with a beautiful view. You could buy some cold beverages from the vending machine. We had a kind of an additional "terrace" so it was convenient while drying. The people were very friendly, open and kind. We had the opportunity to take part in the local celebration, amazing. We felt safe. The public transport to the whole island was easy to get and quite cheap so we could visit other places and had no problems in communication. The receptionists helped us with information and advised us well.

the pool could of been bigger as only accommodates 8 people.

The layout of the property and what was included. There was use of a pool, gym and games room. Fully stocked for kitchen utensils, as well as washing up products. Staff very helpful and nice.

There is nothing negative about Port side Lodge.

The room and facilities were very clean, modern and well looked after. The lady in reception was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. The private parking was excellent and made the trip a lot less stressful. The immediate area was full of nice places to eat and drink and we went for a short walk to a cove and went swimming and snorkeling. The rooftop pool was a lovely place to unwind and there was plenty of shade from the sun. There are several supermarkets very close by to stock up on food and drinks if you are going out for the day. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Unfortunately, you can hear around 8 o'clock in the morning when cleaning the pool above the apartment.

The patio could be cleaner and little nicer. The traffic from the road was noisy.

Staff were very helpful and polite. The apartment was very spacious. The location was convenient with shops and restaurants.

We had a great stay! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The place has everything you need and the location is perfect — right by the promenade and close to lots of bars and restaurants. The rooftop pool is great for cooling off — it would be even better if it stayed open a bit later in the evening.

Good, accessible area, with bars, restaurants, and grocery shops around. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The washing machine is definitely a plus.
