Problem with ants in property I purchased ant spray and informed owner.No offer of recompense just acknowledgement that they already knew there was a problem. Kitchen is OK for light breakfast but rather cramped,we ate out anyway due to ant problem.

There were some minor inconveniences like the front door was hard to open. The first time it took us over 5 mins to open it but eventually we got used to it. The pillows are pretty high and sometimes the water pressure was low. But these were just small inconveniences compared to the overall experience

The check in instructions were clear and understandable. The property matched the pictures and it was overall clean and as described. There was everything we needed from hairdryer to soap and toilet paper. There were also bed sheets and clean towels. It had all the essentials. The hosts were helpful and answered all of our questions. The location was great there is a store just 5 mins away and the beach and bus stop are also near by.

The couch was extremely dirty and needed a cover over it. Could also use an update of kitchen utensils and fry pans also the rubbish collection roster is out of date and incorrect

Very little natural light in as not really any windows to the front room. Central outdoor space also completely enclosed with only a small patch of sky above your head.

Very conveniently located only a couple of minutes from the beach on foot and 15 minutes along the sea front to get to the centre of Marasaskala. Apartment was very clean and had good facilities. Being able to get the key from a lock box was good as I could check in late after my evening flight with no stress.

The property was not clean when we arrived. The towels had an unpleasant smell, as did the bed sheets. All the dishes were greasy and oily, the washing machine was dirty inside, and its handle was broken. I immediately contacted the property representative and received a reply that someone would come to fix it, but after 20 days of staying, no one ever showed up. On the very first morning after our arrival, ants appeared in the living room—hundreds of them. We had to buy insecticide spray ourselves, and luckily managed to reduce the problem for a while. The timetable for garbage collection was incorrect and outdated. We had to take a picture of the schedule from a nearby hotel in order to dispose of our garbage on the correct days. The property has no smoke or fire detector (alarm). The toilet was damaged due to leaking from the water heater placed directly above it, which also made it impossible to clean properly. The couch was completely covered with stains and marks from sweat and salt, while the light switches were dirty and greasy. Overall: this property is ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH OF MONEY WE PAID. It is far too expensive for what it offers. Terrible! I truly hope the owners read this, stop being GREEDY FOR MONEY, reduce the price, and be realistic about the state of the property they are renting—or, better yet, completely renovate the place.

ants, insects, bugs all over the apartment. No offer was even given to assist, only to go buy some traps with our own funds. No cleaning utilities were offered either, but we kept the place clean

Day 1 On arrival we were met with open rubbish bags on the street with ants and cockroaches running around. On entry we noticed the apartment was recently cleaned but there were dirt marks on the floor. As we unpacked we noticed the presence of ants in the house and as we moved into the kitchen it was evident there was an infestation. After a bug killing spree we settled down to catch up on emails and went to turn on the light in the living room, which did not work. We looked for a spare bulb in the hopes there was one present but could not find one. I noticed the smoke alarm was disasembled. Dissappointed with our welcome we tried to access the wifi but after several attempts, it was clear we were given the wrong wifi password. Exhausted, we decided to call it a night. Day 2 We woke to prepare breakfast only to be met with hundreds of insects crawling around the food preperation area. At this point we were both uncomfortable staying in the apartment and went out. We received the correct password to the wifi. It was shared the wrong one! When we came back refreshed from eating out, we noticed black scuff marks on the skirting board and doors and again, more ants. We suddenly realised that the apartment was ALIVE. We called customer support and they contacted the landlord. His resolution was to send maintinance and cleaning crew to clean the apartment and change the lightbulb, but nobody arrived. No understanding or resolution noticed from the landlord. Day 3 We woke early to catch our flight but after a poor sleep due to the thought of aunts crawing on the bed as we slept, we were exhausted. In summary we arrived at the apartment refreshed and relaxed and left tired, exhausted and sick.
