I recently stayed in a flat in Senglea, Malta, and it was the perfect summer accommodation. The flat was incredibly spacious and very well equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the lovely sunroof terrace, which offered a stunning panoramic view of the Grand Harbour and Valletta – absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. The terrace also featured a BBQ, which made for some great summer evenings dining outdoors. The location in Senglea was peaceful yet well-connected, with easy access to local restaurants, shops, and ferry transport. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay – ideal for anyone looking to enjoy Malta in comfort, with unforgettable views and a touch of local charm.

The location is generally good, relatively quiet, with almost no tourists. That's why we chose it – to experience something different. A few minutes' walk away is a small garden with a beautiful view of Valletta and grand harbour. The apartment is very spacious. There is a big terrace with partial harbour view (direction docs). Washing machine and tumbler in perfect condition.

Cleanliness still needs to be improved. The floors were very dusty. And I would say, mostly it was construction dust, because the construction work isn't finished yet. There are electrical cables sticking out of the walls in two bedrooms. There are 4 bathrooms, but none of them has storage space for your toiletries. You basically have no space where to put a toothbrush. No holder for toilet paper. No hooks or holders for towels (ok, in one of the bathrooms there are 2 hooks, but as soon as you hang the towel, they fall down). There are 3 bedrooms but only one bed was more or less comfortable. There is a big kitchen, but it is also one big disaster. We tried to use it as less as possible. Half of the knives are rusted, all the pans are scratched, and we had to wash the plates/cups/cutlery before first use. The dishwasher was not working (the wire basket in the dishwasher was also rusted). The coffeemachine was full with used pads (who knows, for how long). The rooms are spread over three floors. Stairs are quite steep and narrow. It can be dangerous for small children.
