Amazing room, great & friendly host that gives good recommendations on what to see nearby. Very good location as well, 500m walk to the ferry to Valetta and the Senglea city with pretty little streets is great for night walks. Highly recommend for a short stay to explore Valetta

nothing, too perfect

Reading the reviews raised our expectations, but they have been exceeded. The hosts and the place itself are something special, the rooftop with the superb view is stunning. They told us they are planning to expand and add a pool on the roof by next year - the place cannot be made more perfect - you can even use an ice cube machine! The attention to details is astonishing. If your looking for something special and want to feel like home but better - do not look further.

Extremely clean, comfortable room in a perfect location near the bus stop and ferry. The hotel staff were very kind, cheerful and helpful for anything. The breakfast was delicious, the hotel has a very beautiful terrace where you can have breakfast if you prefer. All and all recommended and made our time in Malta excellent!

There was nothing we didn’t like our stay there exceeded expectations.

The hosts Michael and Eric were very helpful and took time to engage with us and give us advice on places to visit and eat during our stay. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and Frances was there to provide eggs cooked to our preference, ie scrambled, poached etc along with toasting the bread of our choice. If you wanted breakfast on the terrace then your selection was placed on trays and carried up there for you by Nitheesh and either Eric or Michael. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their priority was ensuring your stay was 5* which ours was. The hotel was immaculate and we will certainly be staying there when we return to Malta next year.

Both Eric and Michael were extremely helpful and friendly, also as all of the other staff members. Location is great ,and they helped us with our luggage storage. Will for sure visit Malta and be back here again.

It was a wonderful, and I have no doubts this property will only get better. The breakfast was delicious and matched in decadency only by the conversation and companionship provided by Michael and Eric. The entire staff works wonderfully together and are some of the kindest individuals I ever met. I truly felt at home - the property is clean (according to someone who packs their own bedsheets on a trip), organized and every thing included within its walls is impeccable attention to detail. Do yourself a favor and enjoy the experience of the Senglea Suites.

Everything was perfect! The room was spotless, comfortable, and had a beautiful view that made our stay even more relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and varied, especially the banana bread and the eggs that the chef made us every day were incredible . The service was exceptional – everyone was warm, helpful, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We would definitely come back to Senglea Suites again and highly recommend it!

The property is located in an old part of Senglea, close to the sea, restaurants and the bus stop. The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful. It was very comfortable and modern inside. The breakfast was very good with so many choices

As this boutique hotel is not licensed, it would be good for the owners to figure out an alternative to offer to the guests for happy hour.

It is an unspoilt and true piece of gem in Senglea and we consider ourselves lucky to find this place. Great hospitality and personalised service. Easy access to ferry taxis and couple of really good restaurants within walking distance. Ideal for couples.

Nothing- Senglea Suites had everything we looked for in a boutique hotel.

Beautifully renovated and maintained building in a quiet but convenient location - only a 10 minute walk to the ferry to Valletta. Eric and Michael are wonderful hosts always on hand to assist in any way like arranging taxis, recommending restaurants and places to see. There are some amazing restaurants on the water’s edge within a 5 minute walk from the hotel and there was no need to hike into Valletta for evening meals. Breakfast was served at the hotel and comprised a nice variety including cold meats, pastries, fruit, yogurt, eggs done to order and then served either in the dining room or on an open deck on the top floor. There is a lift which was convenient. Our bedroom was beautiful and very tastefully furnished with tea and coffee making facilities and fresh milk provided. The rooms are kept immaculately clean as is the whole hotel. One of the best properties we have ever stayed at.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

What an amazing find. Perfect location. Hotel has been superbly renovated keeping Maltese traditions. Our room was very spacious and luxurious. Bottled Water provided daily and coffee for machine and kept spotlessly clean by the wonderful Nithesh. Great rooftop terrace for breakfast with amazing views. Breakfast was delicious / any egg dish cooked perfectly by Frances. Michael, Eric and Nithesh always available to help with any suggestions or questions. Less than 10 min walk to bus station and around 20 mins to waterfront restaurants and water ferry to Valletta.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday, which we enjoyed thanks to this beautiful accommodation. The reality is much better than the photos on Booking.com. Beautiful spacious room with amenities common to 5-star hotels. Amazing view from the hotel roof, where you could sit comfortably. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the terrace on the top floor of the accommodation. The perfect atmosphere of the hotel was completed by the staff and owners, who were very kind and always willing to advise and help. The location was safe, quiet and with good access to both Valletta and public transport.

Everything, but mainly location and the fact that this area was a bit quieter than other areas of Malta. The owners was very helpful and would go out of his way to inform and share information. Felt like nothing was too much for them. Very kind and friendly.

Nothing at all- it’s fabulous!

Senglea Suites is an oasis of calm with absolute exquisite taste. Eric & Michael are fabulous hosts and made it feel like being at home each morning and like coming home at the end of each day. They were gracious, interested, friendly and helped with suggestions and recommendations. They have done an elegant renovation and we hope to stay again to see the new additions. Frances makes a delicious omelet for breakfast and to go up to the rooftop to eat was amazing. Nitheesh was always looking out for us and we really appreciated his attention to detail. We were lucky to stay in 2 rooms over our 5 days and we loved many things including the multitude of power plugs in your room , the fridge, the beautiful fittings & furniture (especially the chandeliers), the wonderfully comfy bed and the big bathrooms. Don’t hesitate to stay at Senglea Suites- you’ll love it!

Nothing of any real consequence....perhaps another bath mat to absorb shower water?

Michael, Eric and staff could not have done more to make our short stay as comfortable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfast delivered to us on the sun terrace, always with a smile. Will definitely revisit.
