Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomUnfortunately, the quality of the towels provided was below standard—they felt worn and not particularly clean. Additionally, at times , there was an unpleasant sewage-like odour in the bathroom, which persisted throughout our stay and detracted from the overall comfort.
Its proximity to the almost every thing tourists would want . Good communication

Fantastic location, the ferry to Valletta is right by the apartment, lots of restaurants, shops and groceries nearby. Can take a lovely walk on the waterfront to St Julian in one direction and round to Il G’Zira in the other direction. Felt very safe and it was lovely and quiet at night.

United Kingdom- Sometimes when you use youtube on your TV if you are connected to accommodation wifi, you can have troubles with the notifications on the phone showing you another rooms youtube. - On the booking descriptions is stated that quiet hours are from 21 PM to 09 AM, but here depends what kind of neighbours you have. And you have to think about this if you are traveling with the kids. For example on our stay we had nice neighbours, but on the last day other people probably checked in and was a really bad noise till the middle of the night. You can hear sounds of the lift but this is acceptable if is not overused by neighbours. In the room we had advertise of local restaurant, probably will be fine if they will add as well a piece of paper with the quiet hours as a reminder. - Fridge is a little bit noisy. - Main light in the room is not too bright, somebody can like it somebody not.
It was our first visit to the Malta, we traveled with the kid. Location is really nice, you have most of everything you need around at maximum 15 minutes walk. The room was ok, our room was at 11 floor. The accommodation for a family of three (2 adults 1 toddler) was more than enought in my opinion. Check in was easy - instructions was provided in time, we was lucky we dont had any related issues (in others reviews you can see sometimes people had issue with the keys and rooms). A lot of restaurants around, but we recommend Ta' Kris Restaurant - ideal maltese cuisine. Generally - maybe we will book accommodation in Sliema Creek Suites again in the future when we will visit Malta.

RomaniaThe outside AC unit is placed in the small "balcony" and thus creates a lot of noice in the room. We stayed for 5 nights and we were provided just 2 big towels for the entire stay (it would have been useful if they were changed once). Overall it was a good apartment and I would recommend this place.
The room was exactly like we expected, considering the price and the location. The flat is very close to the main promenade in Sliema, very close to supermarkets (across the street), restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops, everything you need is nearby. The building is very close to the main bus stops in Sliema and very close to the port where you can take the ferry to Valletta. The location is very well connected to Valletta by many bus lines and to the airport via the TD fast lines. The room was exactly like in the pictures: the bed, 2 bedside tables, TV, 1 small table with 2 chairs, one small clothing stander, a small bathroom with shower and a kitchenette. They provided an EU-UK plug adaptor. The location provides self check-in which was very useful for us as we arrived very late. The Wi-Fi was very fast. The company that manages the apartment provides luggage storage free of charge at their nearby office (5 min. walk).

United StatesThere were several things that were weird to me: 1. There was no mattress pad on the bed. I wouldn't have noticed, but the fitted sheet was too tight and kept sliding up, exposing the mattress itself. Mattress pads exist for a reason, particularly in a situation where many people sleep in the same bed. 'Nuf said. 2. They advertise a balcony. This is not really the case. Sure, there is an attached outdoor space, but it is *maybe* 50cm square and has cleaning supplies and the AC compressor there. 3. On said balcony there is however a clothes drying rack, but on the door to the balcony there is a notice that says "Do not dry clothes on balcony" -- not sure where else to do it, but I eventually made do (and not outside.) But why is there a clothes drying rack and then a notice that says don't do it. 4. In the kitchen there is a sign by the sink that says not to drink the water because it is not potable. I then texted the management company and asked if, for some reason, the water in the kitchen was different from the water in the bathroom because I would need at least to brush my teeth. They responded to say that it was ok for brushing but not ok for drinking. Mmmmmk. I would have cared a bit less about this if at least one bottle of water was provided because then at least I could use it to brush on the first night until I would have a chance to go get more water. No water provided. 5. The towels were smelly and small. They were also brown in color, so I have no idea if they were clean. Without asking, they did drop clean towels at my door on the morning of the second day. Linens in general were clearly well used and air dried. They could benefit from using a linen service, even if it is more money by a couple of euros to stay; also less headache for them. 6. I was told to clean my dishes before leaving, which I would have happily done, but the only soap-product under the sink was for hair and body. 8-/
First I would like to say that for any weirdness or negatives noted in this post, I should say I would absolutely stay here again. My expectations are set and the price was pretty reasonable. It is really well located in Sliema with easy access to Valletta as the ferry is just a couple minutes walking away. 3 grocery stores nearly also within a couple of minutes along with many delicious restaurants. Large room, access to free laundry machines, good wifi, they held my luggage at the office nearby. Note that it is located on a pedestrian only street, so a taxi will not be able to bring you to the door. Not the end of the world - just know to be dropped off at the top of the street when arriving and be picked up at the bottom of the street when departing, as there is a not-insignificant incline and you don't want to be pushing your luggage uphill.
