How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewStaff is above and beyond, very kind and helpful, always smiling, not only at reception, but everyone in any situation. Very good breakfast, rooftop terra ce is beautiful, if you look around compare it to others, thats the best situated with beautiful view. I was asking for a room at a higher level to avoid noise from the street and they kindly managed. Thank you!
There was a strong smoky smell in the room that i reported after check in, but we are kinda flexible, did not ask for other room, just reported it to receptionist to make sure its not gonna effect our emergency deposit. But it can be problem for other guests.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The room was well-maintained, with everything in good working order. Breakfast offered a solid variety of options, enough to start the day. Overall, it was a reliable and pleasant stay at a fair value.

I booked this hotel and paid at the same time as my booking. I'd arrived around 1:00 pm and the receptionist was welcoming greet me and let me wait for a while, He's telling me that I was very lucky because my room had been upgraded with jacuzzi.He let me to wait for almost half an hour and suddenly said unfortunately there was a problem and I have to moved you in other hotel at the corner ! I was surprised and speechless !

Verified reviewCool designs, perfect place for party animals and young adults. Rooms had pretty much all you need, although using TV was complicated and lagging. Pool area was super nice.
If you won’t go out at night then you will not be able to sleep as it’s surrounded by nightclubs. They will take deposit 50 eur which was not noticed in the booking. Wouldn’t not pay this much money again for this hotel.

Verified reviewThe location is very central. The infinity pool/rooftop area is amazing!! The staff were super nice and welcoming! Entire hotel has such great and funny vibes, all the wall art is really unique.
Night time it’s very loud, but if you’ll be partying then won’t be much of a problem. I’m not a smoker and there was cigarettes smell in hallways and room had a bit of stale air smell.

Verified reviewMy stay at the hotel was positively splendid. Arrived between late April and early May, charming time of year. The receptionists were absolutely delightful. Warm, engaging and willing to accommodate anything you asked for. The room was very comfortable. Air Conditioning especially was functional given the rather hot nature of Malta. The hotel is in the heart of St Julian's, mere footsteps from everything essential. Especially the pub. If you find yourself on the shores of Malta, highly recommended.

No fresh air because the room had a window with a small opening that leads inside of the hotel and not outside. The AC was too strong even when I set it higher so I just stopped it

Verified reviewThe staff were very kind and polite. It’s smack in the middle of the bustling ST Julian’s so for those who love partying or night life, this is the hotel for you. The roof top bar upstairs is pretty cheap and the pool is nice with a lot of seating space by the pool. The room’s AC was working really well and the shower was nice and big!
The windows do a decent job of keeping the noise from the clubs out but you can still hear music from the street. Very loud area but that’s the centre of st Julian’s so I am not suprised I guess.

Verified reviewI booked this property mainly because of the location, rooftop pool and unique decorations of the hotel which me and my boyfriend absolutely loved! Lovely staff, good breakfast and really comfortable beds. Earplugs are also provided which was super helpful as even though the rooms are soundproofed, you can still feel the beats/vibrations from the club if that makes sense. If you are sensitive to sound like me you can hear a faint noise but it wasn’t too bad and I knew what I was signing up for being in the middle of all the clubs. I still definitely recommend this hotel! 9/10
Great place for people looking to party/club but I don’t recommend to individuals who want a chiller holiday with a calmer environment as it is literally party central in the area every day! Ubers also don’t come directly outside as it is a pedestrian area so you always have to walk a few minutes away to reach one but this wasn’t too bad. Cocktails were also expensive in the rooftop pool but this was expected.
