Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandCould be cleaner... Visible dirt in the bathroom and around the bed. I was sleeping on the extended couch - inside the bed interior was nothing but dust and dirt. Both bed and couch were so noisy and squicky. All guests were waken up at night when anyone was moving. Before arriving we were not told that jacuzzi is only "seasonal"... What is the season if not July then? There was water filled inside, some guests were using it either way, but when we checked it - water was not clean at all.
Nice location, close to everything. The outside pool is a big plus, as closest beaches are very crowded and not so attractive. Water and polo area very clean. Another big plus is a drinkable water stations where you can refill 24/7. Nice breakfasts, enough choice for 3 days stay for us. We had a kitchen with a fridge in our room which is also a plus.

United KingdomCommunication was an issue for me during this booking. The zzzing text service that contact you seems to be an AI chatbot as I had asked for our bedding to be set up in advance of arrival. The chat said it wasn’t a problem but when we arrived very late the sofa bed for two of us hadn’t been set up. We had trouble getting in touch with the team and had to wait up very late for a staff member to come and provide us with bedding. I would recommend anyone who books this property to know that there isn’t always a member of staff onsite to help and to make sure you have spoken to a human rather than chatbot with any requests prior to arrival. Apart from this issue we really enjoyed our stay here.
The facilities were excellent including the pool and rooftop jacuzzi. We made use of the onsite laundry room which was very convenient. The variety of food provided at breakfast was great, a lot of options to choose from. The staff in the breakfast room were friendly and helpful. The room was well air conditioned and we had access to cooled drinking water every day.

United KingdomOnly issue was the Malta Nightlife, typically very busy thurs to Sunday night, people are loud in the streets on the way home from Pacheville, so from 2-4am there is noise on the streets and doors banging etc, if you have come for total R&R or are a light sleeper this wouldn’t be for you.
Great location, property was clean, easy to access etc.. and had about 16 rooms across 4 floors Pool was great, ladies who do breakfast are lovely and went beyond to help our toddler cool off and stay happy!

Czech RepublicThe bed was but noisy. Also the toilet was flushing by itself, so it could be disturbing at night. If you plan to cook, there is only basic dishes/pots, so it might be hard, but we mostly ordered some Bolt food delivery, so no issue.
The location is great, its very central, but also quite. The pool and jacuzzi is lovely. Breakfast was also nice. Staff is very kind and helpful.

SerbiaDefinitely very bad sounds isolation! Walls are thin so you can hear all the noise from the street and door closing.
Overall it was very nice experience! Location is great, close to the promenade and bars but in a quiet street. Room was nice and clean and well equipped. Breakfast was simple but delicious and lovely woman who works there will help you with everything you need. Pool area is great!

United KingdomThe breakfast area is quite small. We were able to get a table every day but noticed other guests who came in later had to wait for a table. I would recommend booking a room with a balcony. Ours didn't have one and it felt a bit dark at times but as we wanted to save a bit of money we made the choice to book that room
Great location, great property and good value for money. It had everything we needed and great the we had cooking facilities in the room so we had the flexibility to stay in and cook or go out to eat. Lovely pool area and rooftop terrace.

GermanySome breads at breakfast good, some hard. Maybe an option to improve.
Very well organized and open communication in regard to requests or questions. Breakfast was small but good. Location close to St. Julians and the promenade towards Sliema. Enough space in the room with small balcony in pool direction. Perfect for a family stay with small kids. Barrier-free access to the building and all rooms.

Self check in and check out were super easy! The place was clean, and had everything one could need. Location was super convenient as well and close to shops and bus stops. There was also free water refills which was ideal!

GreeceSome things didn't go as well: The cleaning ladies forgot to take the previous guests' towels. The window had no sound insulation. You need to replace the windows with something better. The building entrance door was making a lot of noise when closing. You need to adjust the door closer. Imagine staying in room 1 next to the door and having to wake up each time someone enters the hotel at night.
Very good location, very nice room. Breakfast ok, very decent.

SloveniaThere was no reception staff and we did not receive instructions on how to enter the room. They were available on WhatsApp an did respond very quickly, but it took us a while to realise that and get to internet so lack of staff was a bit stressful. One day there was a fire alarm in the night, again, the lack of staff meant we were very confused. The front door did not close very well, meaning it was open many times and anyone could come in.
Location was good, bus stop is close with busses to several locations around Malta. Room was well equipped with a kitchen, enough to make a small meal. It was clean, the staff were nice. The breakfast was good but the options and seating are a bit limited. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
