Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe rooftop ‘pool’ is more of a hot tub size than an actual pool, but it was still nice to sunbathe & then cool off in the water.
Loved the central location. Modern & clean hotel. Tiny pool on the rooftop. Good value for money.

United KingdomMost of the rooms have windows facing this internal „tube” so the natural light is quite limited. Breakfast options are quite basic and it finishes at 09:30 so quite early, but its inclusion is welcome. The lack of on-site staff complicates things a bit, the shower temperature was a bit too „room-like” for my liking but I couldn’t really bother to try and get in touch about this.
The location of the hotel is really convenient, right next to the Strand and waterside. The rooms are quite small but modern and comfortable. The AC worked great, especially during the 36 degrees heat. The pool area on the rooftop is small but very welcome. The code entry system makes everything quite easy and you don’t need to worry about losing key cards.

United KingdomBreakfast was very basic. Some more fresh fruit would have been nice. Some items weren’t replenished when they ran out so a lot of the time it was first come first serve. On closer inspection the rooms were a little rough round the edges and ‘unfinished’ such as no or broken towel and toilet roll holders on the wall, skirting boards were missing, silicone and seals around the shower were in poor condition.
The hotel had a lovely finish and was very clean. Simple check in and all self service.

United KingdomThe window does not open out anywhere, so there was no view of outside from the room. Otherwise, it was a comfortable room
The room is nice, very modern and quite spacious, also in a great location close to busstops and loads of restaurants. I like that they allowed us to use the luggage room to store our luggage as our flight was later in the day.

RomaniaThere are no EU plug sockets. There is no reception, everything is done online, without human contact. Problems with accommodation are solved online. The breakfast room is small and gets crowded quickly. Breakfast ends at 9.30. The light on the balcony cannot be turned off at night. The wardrobe for clothes is insufficient for storage, but there are many hangers that make up for it. The pool is so small, more for a decorative purpose. Very noisy during the day because of the builing workings nearby (May 2025).
A small, modernized hotel, with everything you need. The location is very good, near the bus station with a line to the airport or to Valletta, near many restaurants and the promenade of modern Sliema. The room has a tv, AC, a mini fridge, hairdryer, USB A and C sockets for charging near bed on both sides, UK plug sockets, coffee maker with capsules and electric kettle. It has a bottle for drinking water, which can be refilled in the breakfast room each day. Cleaning is done daily, coffee capsules are renewed. The noise during the night is low. The bathroom has a big window. The breakfast is tasty, with an excelent espresso coffee, cappuccino, vegetables, boiled eggs, sausages, yogurt, sweet pastry, fruits, nuts, not many products, but you don't need more! The lady in the kitchen is very kind and quick. We had a problem with the water pressure, but after the plumber checked, they changed our room, as it could not be solved on the spot. The access in the hotel and in the room is digital, with codes. Overall, we are satisfied with the price/quality ratio of this hotel.

United KingdomThe check in process. They sent a wrong code to enter the property, i reached out to them but kept on insisting to use the code that doesn’t work. In the end, we we’re able to checked in at 5:40pm which is so frustrating!!!And another thing that upset me is that, they won’t allow me to leave our luggage before check in time so we can go around the area. We arrived at the property at about 1pm, called them asking if can leave our luggage but told that check in time is 3pm. All of hotels i’ve been to allows to leave luggage before check in time. I suggest that they should have a receptionist (human) rather than computer to deal with customers.
The location is great! Clean and modern facilities

SerbiaThe breakfast selection is small and not very diverse, but there’s still enough food available.
The property is just a 1-minute walk from the sea and is ideally located near bus stations. It’s also a 15-minute walk from the ferry to Valletta. The place is very clean, and the room is spacious—perfect for a week-long stay or even longer. Communication with the property is provided through WhatsApp, and they are very responsive and helpful.

SerbiaIf you're taller than 185 cm, the bed is going to be short for you. It didn't personally bother me a lot, but if you're taller than 195, it might. One of the pillows was extremely uncomfortable. The coffee maker in the common kitchen area didn't get refilled with everything for a few days.
Great communication with the staff through messages. Fast and accurate responses helped with everything from arrival and travel plans. The arrival and departure information are concise and really simple to follow. The room has everything you need and is very clean. The soundproofing of the walls is excellent. The room gets cleaned each day, and old towels are replaced. The mattress is soft and comfy, though a harder mattress would have been better. The morning breakfast is great, it's very diverse, and there is enough to keep you going throughout the day. The apartment is extremely close to everything from restaurants, cafes, markets, pharmacies and etc. It is also well connected to most places in Malta via busses or ferries.

AustriaIt is important to note that this is a full "electronic" hotel - so there is no reception or the like but if you need something you need to write a whatsapp or booking chat. This is fine of course as long as everything goes well, but proves to have its downsides as well. While room cleaning was good, it was not overly diligent. What was unfortunately not clear from the pictures is that the windows of the rooms have no view whatsoever but are into a narrow light well. This is fine of course if you are not in the room much, but I think could be mentioned better upfront ,-)
