Unfortunately, and to no blame of the property, there was a lot of construction in the neighborhood and it starts pretty early in the morning.

Fabulous views await you of Spinola Bay in this modest yet cosy apartment. Truly ideal location for a romantic weekend and as a base to see Malta from. Far enough, yet close enough to experience the fun side of Malta (Paceville) and the tranquil harbor.

If you are traveling more than 2 people, the sofa bed is not very comfartable to sleep, however, it is great place to stay with friends

MALTA Transport by bus is super cheap, and you can go anywhere in the country BUT they are often full to bursting and you can't get on. (we gave up, downloaded the UBER ap). There is an extraordinary amount of construction going on which makes part of the city look like a war zone. APARTMENT (minor issues). LIGHTING I disliked the lighting in the apartment. Everything was too harsh and white. The bedside lights were nice but light on the window side was not working correctly. There are 4 overhead lights in the main living area, but the one above the dining table flickered and buzzed the whole stay. A soft warm table lamp would make the living area more ambient, and less clinical. CUPS The cups are VERY small in the kitchen and there is only ONE mug. Bowls are shallow and only ONE deep bowl. If you are more than one person and you both love your mug of tea/coffee in the morning, or a big bowl of porridge, you will have to eat separately, or keep making small top up cups. (I suspect this is where the ONE cup and bowl came from; a fellow traveler who liked a big breakfast mug and bowl)

MALTA Weather was lovely 24-26 degrees/History of the country is interesting/Older buildings are beautiful APARTMENT Location is superb. We used UBERs the whole visit and found this place was central to all the places we visited. The smoothness of the access and departure and communication with the owners was excellent. It was nice to have some basic provisions in the cupboard when we arrived (tea/coffee/tuna/salt/pepper/water). There was a local corner shop 100mtres away and a larger grocery store a 3min walk away. Balcony is such a bonus. I would 100% recommend this accommodation.

Super apartment. Great location, spotlessly clean. So close to a fantastic swimming spot , restaurants and buses. Loved the balcony with fabulous sunshine from morning to evening. Great communication with the host made checking in and out , seamless. Such a lovely comfy apartment. Ideal for a couple.

The bed was very very uncomfortable, and the overall cleanliness of the place was far below expectations. With some improvements in these areas, it could be an amazing stay.

The apartment offered stunning views and was located in a beautiful area, which we truly enjoyed.

The BIG downside to this property - and the reason for it getting a low score - is the construction work currently taking place outside the bedroom window. A digger equipped with a jack hammer drill starts work shortly after 07:30 and continues for much of the day. Frankly, the property should have warned us because the noise is a major inconvenience. I have attached a photo. Other issues: - the property states you can't drink the tap water (sometimes it was visibly dirty). Why not install a filter as other properties do? - the bed was rather uncomfortable. - you are asked to upload a copy of your passport to a company called Airtable. I had never heard of it before and disliked sending my passport details to an unknown website.

The apartment overlooks Spinola Bay and offers a wonderful view. It was easy to find and check-in was via a key lock-box. Inside, the apartment is spacious, bright and generally clean; the kitchen was well-equipped. Wi-fi seemed to work fine. Unfortunately, I lost the key while swimming in the sea (stupidly, I forgot to take it out of the pocket of my swim shorts!). I contacted Leva, the manager of the property, who came over almost immediately with a spare key to let us in. So top marks to her for being so efficient.

Building work going on directly opposite the apartment and the bedroom! Some people will say, "this is Malta!" But that doesn't mean you should expect to be woken at 8am every morning by the "thud thud thud" of heavy plant machinery. Thankfully I was up early anyway and was out most of the day but it would have been a poor show had I been wanting a lie in. The keys to the main entrance and to the apartment door need a bit of wiggling. I'm sure there's a knack to it but just get the keys recut or change the locks

I was given Apartment 4. The side of the bedroom is noisy. easy to be woken up very early in the morning. I was left only half toilet paper rol. The towels left were small and quiet used. The bed is really uncomfortable and creaks really loudly. It should really be changed. The kitchen has all type of leftover food packages that (I guess) other guests have left. in my opinion not really hygienic. I would have appreciated a bottle of water for the first night at arrival.

the views and location. the stuff answers quickly. I was allowed to check out a bit later.
