United KingdomI think it's such a shame that the terrace is empty in the evenings - on some nights there were musicians there and nobody to hear them. I think they should consider serving food on the terrace in the evenings and maybe having pizza or cocktail nights etc to encourage people to be on the terrace in the evenings/

I have been staying at the hotel for the last 25 years, visiting once or more every year. I wish to highly commend both Luke (at front office, young Maltese man but not sure I got the name right) and veteran David from F&B, for their professionalism, customer focus, and attention to detail. I have significant experience managing business and people for decades so do not take such criticism lightly. They are assets. Saturday night buffer a fantastic idea, with the food and ambience outstanding.

MaltaThe room fell short of the expected five-star standard. Basic amenities and toiletries typically provided in such hotels were absent. Breakfast was disappointing, with limited and unappealing choices. Unfortunately, flies and fruit flies were present around much of the food on display — an issue that could have been easily avoided by using protective covers. Overall service reflected a lack of staff training, with no visible management presence to oversee operations.

MaltaUnfortunately the hotel feels run down - proper cleaning of rooms needs to be done (our floor was dirty for example) and more investment in maintenance and refurbishment needs to be done to uplift this beautiful hotel such as bathrooms are very out dated.
Beautiful, peaceful hotel. All rooms and facilities are surrounded by nature. You can truly relax. Some of the hotel rooms are right next to the pool which is very comfortable and convenient to have especially with a baby. Beautiful gardens, and pools, great food!

This Hotel is best in Gozo, the staff are brilliant and can’t be more helpful. We went for my Cousins wedding and it was an absolutely stunning location with in the grounds. The hotel Caters for any family of any age, the adult pool is quiet and away from the children’s pool and perfect drink service around the pool, all the staff work incredibly hard and well together, to keep you refreshed around the pool. Breakfast and evening meals did not once disappoint. Also if you need transfers around Gozo ask at reception for Joey, he was a life saver for last minute early transfer to the ferry. He’s a scholar and a gent! I have already booked my second stay for next year.

Maltamaybe the door entrances into the hotel could be more accessible for wheel chairs or scooters, there was no Bar service around the pools as you had to go to bar to order but then they will bring you the drinks after. Sports channels was lacking in at our room TV which was disappointing. One thing I was disappointed is the gym, opening at 8.00 am is to late for early birds like my self at least 7.00 is more reasonably but on the positive side the SPA opens as well at 8.00 which is very good
The last time I was there it was 2021 which in that time was at urgent need for refurbishment, After 4 years everything has improved immensely, Rooms upgraded a more fresh look, Adult pool re-shaped very beautiful now and in general everywhere was more or less refurbished and The breakfast and Restaurant was super. MaltaSome outdoor furniture needs upgrading, bed wasnt so much comfy as expected and we were assigned a room near the family pool, when we dont have kids. I would have preferred a much quieter room. I had been booked since december so pls when someone like us without kids book a room, try to assign one away from the family pool as we couldnt rest in the afternoon with the kids screaming. Also, pls tell your indian staff to limit curry use at tal Kantra lido as i had a filet steak, was cooked perfectly but covered in curry :(. Pls also add more deckchairs near adults pool as there arent enough!
Visited for my birthday. The surroundings are amazing, peaceful and quiet. The hotel is beautiful and its location is perfect, away from Malta s chaos. The adults pool is lovely so fresh and beautiful. Breakfast amazing and staff nice too, cant understand other reviews where people state that staff need to smile more. You are all amazing, keep it up please! Oh and thankyou for giving those cats a home but pls leave them bowls with fresh water as they were drinking from the pool :(
