They were two rooms “shared” , we could not see them but we can hear them because it was not a completely different separated room. Also there was no elevator.

If the bedroom door is open to the Turquoise room, people from outside can see directly in, as the front door is glass. I would like if the second door closed for privacy. Also there were some men that were very creepy and inappropriate staying in the room with us and there was no night security to tell them about it, or make us feel safer returning home as female travellers.

There was mold in the shower and the bathroom didn't look clean. The water pressure in the shower was poor.

The room is up 5 flights of stairs which was tricky with a broken toe but manageable. Not really a hostel where you meet and greet other backpackers as there isn't really a social space for that except the bar next door but for the price it's great.

Great location. The double beds were fantastic. The staff were super helpful and accommodating and the aircon worked well.

When I arrived, I did notice a cockroach, which wasn’t a great first impression. Also, there was no air conditioning, and the window opened directly onto the street right by the beds, which made it a bit noisy and less private. The space felt a little crowded and slightly unclean, but not to the point that it really disrupted the stay — just something to be aware of.

The location was excellent and very easy to access, which made getting around super convenient. I also really appreciated the option for late check-in — it made my arrival stress-free. The beds itself was modern and well-maintained, and I especially liked the design of the bunk beds with privacy curtains — a great touch for added comfort!

There isn't coat rack in the bathroom. The water pressure was not really strong in the shower.

The reception is open until 4 pm and I arrived after this time. Enter to the hostel was very easy as information was provided. Clean room, good location and even a welcome drink. 😊

Limited bathrooms - one in the room, another one in the hallway, but it has one shower and one toilet. The showe could be better, but they cleaned it every day, so thats a plus! They chargers next to your bed are only usb type A, and it charges very very slowly.

The location is perfect. The staff is nice, I had an option to check in early. New furniture, nice lockers, you get free towels. Hot water in the shower, AC in the room. Very close to the bus station, store, beach, McDonalds.

The kitchen is tiny, and the staff was nice, but not proative, i had to ask everything, even to find the towel and bedsheet when i arrived. Also there is a young guy with a mustach that works there that is extremely rude, and should not work in a hostel.

There are only 2 things that should be improved upon: 1. Bathroom door was a bit rickety so people would always have trouble sliding it. 2. While the bar/common room is great, I see a potential safety issue as it has its own separate entrance to the street with nothing except the eyes of the bartender preventing any potential street guest from climbing the stairs to the rooms. If there is one thing I would recommend, it is to have a way to close the stairway to the rooms for all except the guests.

Excellent value for money, lovely staff, great position right at St. Julian's bay. The beds were comfy, with the curtains giving a very good degree of privacy even with 6 people in the room. Lockers were also decently sized, allowing for a large suitcase. The location is especially a great strength because you have a few restaurants (including McDonald's) nearby, a grocery store, a self ashing machine parlor and a bus stop, allowing you to reach Valletta with with a 30 minute ride. Right next door is also a cafe, where you can watch sporting events on a big screen. Front door lock combination is frequently changed for safety. Toilet paper and everything bathroom related is changed and restocked frequently. They also have a newly made common room/bar which has a good size and great prices for drinks (Aperol was only 2€ for example) but it may take a bit of time for it to get traction with guests. If I ever come back to Malta, I definitely intend to book again!
