I would just recommend changing the shower head, that's all.

The place is magical, very authentic and full of character. The aircon was perfect, it was quiet and we had a lot of space. We loved it!

The mattress is pretty bouncy so when the person next to you turns you might feel it more than usual, and the water pressure is a bit low.

Great location, really good value for price, perfect for a calm, romantic getaway for a couple. The rooftop terrace was very nice and the ambience of the interior is lovely.

Absolutely beautiful place. I appreciated the age of the building and character, etc. Birgu is a very beautiful place and lots to see. The location of the little house is perfect with easy access to the ferry to go over to valetta waterfront, etc. Museums close by and a big market up the road on a Tuesday. There are plenty of things to do and places to eat or drink close by. The host was absolutely wonderful and fixed a small issue promptly without hesitation, which we greatly appreciated. Such a kind-hearted soul and was a pleasure to meet. I would 100% recommend staying here as not only is the price good but if you appreciate the beauty of places then this is where you want to be heading. Book!

I recently stayed at a charming building in the historic area of Birgu, Malta, and it was an exquisite experience. The property perfectly captures the essence of old Malta, offering a genuine glimpse into its rich heritage. Its location is ideal—conveniently close to all the attractions in Birgu and just a short boat ride from Valletta, making it easy to explore the capital city. The building itself is stunning, reflecting the unique architectural beauty of the region. The owner was extremely lovely and helpful, accommodating an early arrival with ease. The house was also impeccably clean, enhancing the overall comfort of the stay. The only minor issue during my visit was the lack of hot water, but given the warm temperatures, this was more of a minor inconvenience than a major problem. Overall, I highly recommend staying here for a true taste of Malta’s charm. The experience felt authentic and immersive, and the exceptional hospitality made it a memorable part of my trip.

The house has two small roof terraces but nowhere to sit outside. The house would benefit from some seating on the front roof terrace which has a partial view of the harbour.

Beautiful house close to the centre of Birgu and well equipped. The host was excellent and responded to our questions. Birgu is a beautiful historic city which we loved exploring. Great location.

Nothing to dislike.

A lovely old stone built house in the old capital of Malta. Lots of little alleyways to wander around and only 50 Mt's from the harbour. All facilities on site and a washing machine was a bonus.

While everything was working, a few things could do with some attention, but that's me getting picky:.a handle on the chest of drawers in the bedroom was loose, the shower in the bathroom was working, but the bath tap wasn't. One handle in the kitchen had sharp edges, catching on clothes.

The property is really spacious and characterful. The location is great it is well connected to busses and near the ferry to Valetta. While cafés and restaurants are on the doorstep, it is a nice and peaceful location. It has a lovely little inner courtyard/lightwell, more could be made of this feature.

My stay at an apartment in Malta was marred by a cold and insufficiently heated environment, despite the air conditioning. The initially friendly host agreed to a refund after canceling my stay due to the discomfort, but failed to follow through and ceased all communication, leading to a very disappointing experience. In contrast, other properties in Malta provided a much more comfortable and enjoyable stay, making it clear that I cannot recommend this particular apartment or its owner.
