It is really an authentic townhouse where you can feel a little bit local. It's located in Senglea, a town where there are fewer tourists compared to Valletta or other neighbouring towns. The two bedrooms are equipped with good double beds and wardrobes. The kitchen area is semi-equipped but okay. The ferry to Valletta is a 15-minute walk, and a fairly well equipped small supermarket is also in this distance. At the end of the tiny peninsula where Senglea is situated there is a small rocky beach with a deep sea and breathtaking view of Valletta and all the ports around; it's a 5-min walk from the house. Our host Harold is very helpful and responsive. Thank you!

It's a townhouse in a densely populated area, so it's not very quiet: you can hear people talking in the street and in other houses, the sounds of cars and trucks. Also, we were there in the first part of August when there were a lot of fireworks even at daytime (typically in the morning and the late afternoon), but at night you can hear boom-boom up until 1 am (!). And yeah, it's a traditional stone-built house, so it's naturally damp, and it has a peculiar smell; but you must be aware of these things when booking this type of accommodation, right?

Self catering with lots of restaurant options in the locality The location is excellent, including daily swimming at the Senglea point. There are always interesting things to see in the grand Harbour. They recently reinstalled the sea access ladders at the point

Quite a few steps to access the house from the seafront, but manageable

Beautifully renovated in the traditional Maltese style. The location was fantastic for our needs and the host very helpful.

There is a lot of humidity in the lower levels and the odor from it is very strong. I would recommend a door between the kitchen area and the basement or a humidifier. If it wasn’t for that it would’ve been perfect.

Excellent location on Isla - a very quiet residential area, nice neighborhood but at only 10 minutes from the busy Valletta by ferry or watertaxi. The location is excellent to discover Malta. We had the whole house, a beautifull 3 flloor old house with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Harold is an excellent host and he did help us with information and advice. It was a perfect staying.

Being able to self cater. Proximity to Isla bus terminal

There was no reliable connectivity to internet in the upstairs bedroom. The internet worked well in the living area.

I strongly recommend. Very good contact with the owner. The house with old style, very well maintained and comfortable. Situated close ( 3 min walk) to the yacht ramp with a nice view of Valletta and good restaurant. 10 min walk to the ferry ramp to Valletta. Thanks Harold for your hospitality 👍

The accommodation is located in a nice small and quiet town opposite Valletta. If this suits you, you will be happy. If you are looking for variety in your evening life and are happy with a longer night transport, either by bus or perhaps the Bolt, you will again be satisfied. Wonderful accommodation in an old house that has been carefully renovated. All decently furnished and cosy. The owner is very easy to get along with, whether about arrival, departure or where to buy food.

Noise during air conditioning/heating operation. I felt that the bathroom suffered from using desalinated water. Both bedrooms are upstairs, but only one of them has a bathroom next to the room. The other bedroom has to go to the toilet and the downstairs bathroom.
