Staff was very nice and helpful. The female only dorm was AMAZING. a great shower and everything was clean.

The WiFi was disconnecting from time to time when spending time in the lowest floor. (Lower than ground floor)

The property is centrally located. The beds were comfortable. The spa was a nice addition, but do not expect anything fancy; it is just a small pool and the sauna. The kitchen and the common facilities were nice. The room is air-conditioned and it is controlled from the reception. They also provide some drinking water in the kitchen.

I think to enhance the privacy, some curtains are needed or would be nice, or are expected from a place that has a good quality like this. Also, the air conditioning in the rooms gets turned off in the late morning- afternoon, until the evening, so if you’re in the room, there is a fan, but it gets warm.

The property is in a good location, just 10 minutes from the beach. You can reach Valletta by ferry in 20 minutes, with ferries running every 20 minutes until late at night and also very clean.

I stayed in the yellow room. The bathroom noise was annoying because we could hear everything when someone was showering and so on. They also tried to charge me €3 for a second towel. I’ve never stayed in a hostel or hotel that asked for extra money for a second towel mine got wet after showering, so if you’re staying longer, bring your own towel.

The location is one of the best if you want to be well connected by buses and ferries, within walking distance of popular areas but still away from the party chaos of St. Julian’s. The hostel is calm and friendly, with staff always ready to help. The kitchen is spacious and comfortable, so if you plan on cooking occasionally, it’s a great option. They even lent me a lock for my personal compartment at no extra cost.

Even though it’s the middle of summer and you’re paying a high hostel fee, they turn off the A/C at 10 a.m. (regardless of whether people are still sleeping in the room — they don’t even knock before coming in). They only turn it back on at 9/10 pm, so if you want to stay cool during the day, you basically have to go to the kitchen or a small common room. The shared bathroom is cleaned at most once a day, so for the rest of the time it’s usually wet.

I love this hostel is beautiful

You have to pay for the towels 3 euros for rent it, I think it should be included in the price.

The only positive thing is the position in front of the ferry for Valletta

The A.C. was 10 cm above my head and I could not sleep a single minute. The girl in the bed below me was already ill and coughed all night. They said the A.C. can’t be changed. I had reservation for 2 nights but I moved away as soon as possible the day after

The house is very nice, very good kitchen, good living room to chill, super silent, the spa looks great. Bedrooms are huge, also the bathrooms, that are modern and work very well. Each bed has a big drawer to keep your stuff (enough for small luggages only, but the room has space for big bags too). Location is amazing, very easy to take the bus to go up to the ferry to Gozo/Lagoons (2 min walking plus about 1h by bus), and also to take the ferry to Valetta (2 min walking plus 15 min by ferry)! It has a small rocky beach close to it, with a nice view of Valetta, and many shops and restaurants around. Very central neighboorhood. The only 2 negative things in the shared room are that the bathroom door have a glass, so whenever someone is inside, the light comes to the room, and whenever you want to open your drawer, you’ll wake everyone up, since it is a lot noisy.

Staff could be more friendly and informed about atractions and transportation. The door of the bathroom dont need this glass for sure!

Great location Very clean Staff were friendly and helpful Quiet for sleeping

Sounds silly but we were in a studio and a little bit of washing up liquid and a tea towel would have been helpful

The location is great, just a few minutes' walk to the pier, and the staffs are friendly and helpful.

The room rate isn't exactly cheap, but the air conditioning is only turned on at fixed times each day by staff, apparently from 7 or 8 PM until 10 or 11 AM the next morning. However, Malta's summers are extremely hot, and the rooms become very stuffy, especially in the basement where ventilation is poor. The most uncomfortable part for me was the bathroom area. It felt very dirty, with water pooling on the floor, the mats and towels soaked through, and the toilet stained with urine. I feel the cleaning frequency isn’t sufficient, as it’s hard to expect every guest to be 100% clean. The most unpleasant part of the day was brushing my teeth in the morning. The bathroom wasn’t inside the room, and the only available bathroom combined shower and toilet facilities, requiring waiting and preparing mentally to face the mess left by the previous user.

The spa and sauna were very nice. Air conditioning in the room and clean shared bathroom

Very strict checkin rules. No room to rest as the room downstairs is used by people for their work / phone calls
