How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Verified reviewThe location in St. Julians just beside Paceville is superb, All in walking distance, good grossery shop just few minute walking . The communication with Martina was easy and quick. We liked keyless acess to the villa. With group of people, it is very convonient. The bedrooms were good and very comfortable matresses and pillows/plankets, better than in most hotels. Parking onsite also good. Full equipped kichens foor cooking with gas stove.
The living room area is not very cosy as well first level gameroom/extra kichen. outdoor and pool area was not cleaned. It seemed to be as abonded. Villa windows have poor sound insulation so street noise is loud especially Sunday morning street bikers.

However I would like to point out, as it is a very important matter for our company, that the last cleaning of the villa (outdoor area included) was done the morning of your arrival. You arrived at 8 in the evening and in Malta, as you could noticed, there is a lot of wind especially in end November. Writing the area was even abandoned sounds too much and with lack of respect for who works hard to clean everyday. We are sorry if you thought the area wasn’t clean but our strong point is usually the cleanliness and was very important to me to clarify the facts. Best Regards, Martina

Verified reviewWe had an excellent stay over New Year’s Eve, the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. We were a group of 9, the Villa had lots of space and could easily sleep more people. The rooms are spacious, all have air conditioning and are modern. There are really good communal areas in the kitchen and in the basement where you can relax as a large family / group. The location is perfect, 2 minute walk to an amazing supermarket. Less than 5 minutes to a variety of bars and restaurants in St. Julian’s. Short 10 minute taxi to Valletta.

Verified reviewThe property is huge and has every comfort that you need!! Notwithstanding the size, it is really cleaned and well maintained. It has two kitchens with all the appliances, it has this amazing Swiss mind pool that was really curated. The rooms are nice and the beds and the sheets were clean. All the bathrooms (and there are fours) were deep cleaned and furnished with everything you need. They also have a gaming room with the football table game. AMAZING! The location is WOW, is right behind the newly built mercury tower where you can find a lot of shops, restaurants and bar. There is a supermarket nearby (really 1 minute walking) that is very big and has everything you need. There is a bus stop also in front of the supermarket and you can go whenever you want from there. I really recommend this property because either if you are a group of friend or a family this place is PERFECT for you. The zone in which the house is located is really quite and perfect for staying the day relaxing, however if you walk down the street there is “paceville” where there are a lot of pubs and bar.

Verified reviewWe had an absolutely amazing stay in the fantastic villa.The villa is absolutely beautiful and we have never been to a more spotlessly clean place ,stunning, traditional yet newly upgraded with beautiful finishings. The kitchen fully equipped.The common area is so cozy ,the swimming pool was great,they have table games, playing cards and really anything you could need to have a relaxing evening or morning with your company!The location is great near to Mercury the newly opened mall,supermarkets & Paceville where you can find a lots of disco pubs to enjoy nightlife.The management was super friendly they made us feel welcomed and help us with everything .Loved staying here!!!
