Wonderful location if looking for a quiet villa and away from the crowds. Amazing views. Large property. Great pool area.

Property is a little rundown in places. especially kitchen area and plumbing issues in master bedroom, no warm water. Old taps, missing tiles etc. could do with a facelift in places given marketed as luxury villa. We had issues with dishwasher and air conditioner too. Victoria the host was very responsive and helped as best she could. Could not fault her service.

Photos don’t do this villa justice…. Absolutely stunning… Much bigger than it looks also (including the pool that is over 2m deep. I was concerned after reading some of the reviews but I needn’t have been… 10/10

Everything. The standard of everything was excellent. A very quiet and peaceful location rather than a busy resort.

Nothing really. The pool pump stopped working one day but received a reply immediately from the manager of the property and a new pump was fitted the next day.

The location was brilliant - wonderful views, swimming pool ideal for children, very roomy villa.

The sliding doors were very difficult to open; there was a smell of drains externally; the steps outside were often wet and slippery (I think from the aircon system) so were quite dangerous; no restaurants or shops within walking distance.

Mellieha is a wonderful city with many excellent restaurants and it is really easy and inexpensive to travel around with a Bolt-taxi. The walk from the Villa to the city centre takes about 20-30 minutes. There is absolutely no traffic in the street (at least not in April) and it is quite quiet. The house is well organized with every bedroom apart from the other. It was no problem to be ten people there. The bathrooms are nice with decent showers. It is also very good to have an elevator in the house to bring the luggage between floors. The jacuzzi is quite small (for two persons) but nice. The pool table is a big bonus. We had a lot of fun playing in the evenings. The absolute best was the infrared sauna, the pool and the big veranda downstairs. Although it was quite windy during our stay it provided good shelter. Our host, Victoria, who met us in person in the beginning and showed us around, was really nice and very quick to respond to all questions we had.

We have to admit that some things were not as great as we expected. Quite many things need a repair or an upgrade such as the bathroom and kitchen cabinets (which smell of must), the sofas in the big living room upstairs and the locks on the sliding doors. We could only lock one bathroom door but that was no huge problem (if a bathroom door was closed it simply meant that someone was using it). But all in all it was a wonderful stay.
