Great villa with all the facilities we could have wanted. Plenty of space both inside and by the pool and the villa is well equipped. A very welcome pay fridge stocked with drinks to save you running out is in the pool house and our host Mario was very helpful. He was in touch prior to our arrival to make sure everything was organised and very helpful during our stay- has loads of information about local sites and facilities. We can’t speak highly enough of him. The villa is located in a quite residential area but well served by taxis to take you anywhere on the island if you don’t have a car. A great place to stay – highly recommended.

Our host Mario was very thorough, he sent us loads of great info in advance of our trip to help us get the most out of our holiday on Malta. When we arrived he told us about everything at the property and in the local area then offered to show us where the supermarkets and local sites of interest were which was very kind. We enjoyed our time as a family chilling by the pool and visiting the island.

The villa is a large family villa with lots of facilities. The outdoor space is particularly large for a Maltese villa. Mario is a very keen host and on hand to help in anyway he can. The honesty store cupboard was also an added bonus.

Nothing - everything was good. You may want to bear in mind the fourth (single) bedroom is directly off the kitchen/dining room so not always the quietest place to sleep.

The house was very comfortable and spacious, in a quiet area with easy parking on the street outside. There was effective air con in all reception rooms and bedrooms, essential in the July heat. The pool was a good size and well-maintained, with lots of other outdoor furniture to use and a BBQ. Naxxar was well-situated to get to other places of interest on Malta (and Bolt taxis came very quickly), and we found some interesting things to see very close to the house (Mosta church, Palazzo Parisio) as well as a very good restaurant (L'Orangerie). Our host was very welcoming and helpful, giving us lots of useful information at the start of our stay and also checking all was well with us during the week.

The host is really awesome, he gave us a lot of informations and was here for any question but sometimes it felt a little bit overwhelming maybe try to give your guest more privacy :)

We had a fantastic time in Malta for holidays with a beautiful house with amazing facilities. The property is provided with AC everywhere, the kitchen is equiped perfectly and we had so much chill with the pool and the deckchairs. The location was also great, we had a music festival near and we could go easily to La Valetta. Finally the host was really responsive and the contact was always very smooth.

Nothing major to dislike, some of the appliances didn’t work effectively but having raised the issue, it was quickly resolved.

Lovely clean, spacious property. Great use of amenities, pool was perfect in size for a family of 6. Deep enough to dive and swim lengths. The bedrooms were good sizes, with plenty of wardrobe space. Furnishings made the stay feel homely.

The location was better suited for having a car, but the cheap taxis through the Bolt app and the villas central location on the island made it easy to get around.

The villa was well kept, with everything being clean and everything working as intended. We especially appreciated the ability to use the BBQ. The aircon was also very useful, with it being effective and available in each room. The pool was a major selling point for our group as well, and we really enjoyed getting to use it. The host was also very accommodating, and made our stay as move as possible. Thank you Mario for having us!

The Villa is even more spacious inside than the pictures reveal. The master bedroom is huge. Mario is a very supportive host and the location is very convenient.

We booked for 6 and had use of the self contained ground floor unit. This consisted of 3 double bedrooms and a single. The single room was quite small.

Modern property with working electrics, water and air conditioning Great pool area with outdoor dining table and sofas Good central location for travel to all parts of Malta Communicative and helpful host. All requests wet promptly met. Kitchen facilities were very good for home cooking. The property is close to Naxxar centre and the amazing PAMA Supermarket. Also a local convenience store.

I cannot give this property a good review due to the attitude of the owner. We were a group of 7 professionals on a work trip, to visit our office in Malta and this was communicated previously to the owner. Being colleagues, during the planning of the trip we weren't sure who exactly would be coming on it, only that there would be roughly 7 of us, so it was paramount that we get a property where each person could have a separate bed. In that regard, Villa Naxxar seemed perfect, as the property description mentioned 4 bedrooms with 7 separate beds! But upon arrival, we found 3 double beds and only 1 single bed tucked away in a room with no outer windows and which basically resembled a storage closet. By itself this wouldn't have been a big deal, but when requesting more beds and explaining the situation to the owner (that we are colleagues not a large family or a collection of couples) the answer we received was to pay more (30EUR per person, per night) in cash, even though we wouldn't be adding more people to the booking. Even the request of an extra linen set, so someone could use the couch in the living room, was denied and the phone conversation got quite heated. On top of this, the owner made inappropriate comments throughout the first few days mentioning how he has never had this problem before and "it is perfectly fine for people to sleep together". On the second day these comments received a direct response from me to inform the owner that his opinion on us sleeping together is irrelevant after which he exploded and got very angry. The owner also requested 30-50EUR per person, in cash, even if they were just visiting, which was only communicated AFTER the booking was made. On top of this, he lived next door and had a habit of randomly showing up poolside, without giving us any notice, which made everyone feel constantly on edge and took away from the relaxing atmosphere.

The property itself is very beautiful, well maintained. The pool is gorgeous and the surrounding area is nice and quiet at all times of the day.
