Overpriced. The breakfast could improve considering the price of the hotel. Second day I was not even offered the warm option. Most of the personnel were kind, but some at the reception were not.

The best thing about the property is its location – the beach is right outside the hotel, and it’s perfect for snorkeling. You can see lots of marine life just a few steps from your room, which is amazing.

It's a very basic hotel right on a small beach. Few lounge chairs and beach towels are available. Breakfast had very limited options, great coffee. Rooms are large, but it would be nice to have night stands to put some items beside the bed. Bed firm and comfortable. Stuff was friendly. Sufficient place for a short stay, but not a great value for money. It is not a resort.

Clearly the staff and the way they organize their duties. Everyone seemed chaotic, nobody was smiling (except for the restaurant staff during dinner times and the cleaning lady), reception staff always grumpy. The TV in the room was only for furniture - there was no cable 😅 Breakfast is VERY slow and at times I felt I was bothering them by being there. They wouldn’t ask me which breakfast I want (there were 3 options) but randomly bringing bread, butter and some viennoiserie, coffee and honestly I thought that was breakfast, only for the lady to come 20mins later to ask me what I want to eat. Again, no smile, no sign of happy interaction. The staff really needs to be better trained. At times also when going to the bar to buy drinks you’d meet the same slightly hostile attitude that you’re disturbing them. At checkout (which is clearly stated at 11AM) we were asked by the receptionist to wait ‘5 minutes’. The place was empty, no queue. Just the receptionist and the manager. No explanation whatsoever. We waited. It turned into 25minutes with no explanation and we got up to ask because we had a taxi coming at 11:30 and it was 11:25 and we weren’t yet checked out. Price wise quite high for the quality of services, dinner was 1450 rupees (30€) per person no drinks included and they are charging 120 rupees (2.5 euros) per LITER of water in an area where there is no grocery store nearby. You shouldn’t really try to make such huge profits on BASIC needs like drinkable water. Lastly, there were not enough sunbeads and umbrellas. In a resort where only residents are allowed you should ALWAYS have enough sunbeds for all residents and provide SHADE. Quite a long list of dislikes.

The view and the beach is astonishing. It is a great spot for snorkeling and the garden is very nice and well kept. The rooms are big, decent (nothing fancy) but comfortable, big beds (only 2 small pillows though for a 200cm bed which i didn’t like). I really appreciated the restaurant staff (Xavier and his colleague) we had when we had dinner (which was delicious but quite pricey) as they were the only staff that felt genuinely nice, friendly and not bothered by us. Also a very quiet and calm place, good to relax and enjoy.

The rooms and furniture feel outdated. The bathroom tiles are painted rather than properly renovated. The shower sometimes lacked water pressure. You need to switch on the water heater constantly, and it’s impossible to set it to a comfortable temperature. We stayed there only 2 days, I would not recommend more until it's renovated.

The hotel is located directly on the beach, where you can relax on their sunbeds. It is also near the airport. The food was very good, but you might have to wait a long time to be served. The staff is welcoming, though some lack experience or don't speak English.

The conditioning system was a bit too loud in the bedroom, but it seems that some things in some rooms are under upgrade/improvement, so it will get better. Breakfast/lunch or simply ordering food or drinks took sometimes very long, which felt unnecessary... We would have preferred enjoying the beach instead of waiting time.

Beautiful!! It is generally a very cozy hotel, not too big, which is very relaxing.. good Location, nicely done area. Perfect for snorkeling directly from the hotel beach... Friendly and very supportive staff (everyone!!) We enjoy our stay there a lot! & would definitely return again.

It’s a bit far from things and I didn’t have a car but there is a restaurant onsite and an independent one for breakfast and another for dinner within 10-12 min walk.

The biggest positives are the proximity to the airport after a long overnight flight it was a delight to arrive so quickly here! The views on arrival of the beach area were unreal! Just like the photos shown here if not better. Also had very friendly welcome on arrival and friendly staff throughout. The room was adequate for needs, enough space for the three nights I stayed, a nice balcony too. I was working remotely so spent a lot of time on the balcony and in the room working! All round good experience! Good food too.

Cleaning needs absolutely to be improved, and also there is some renovation needed. Very windy spot during all our 5 nights of stay. No water activities offered.

Beachfront bungalows with living room and 2 bedrooms, ideal for a family. Crystal clear water, one of the best and clearest we have seen in Mauritius. Friendly and helpful staff. Without a buffet breakfast and dinner, which I hate, but instead with some daily options to choose from and served from the waiters.

The rooms are big and comfortable, but not very luxurious.

The staff was amazing, the beach is really beautiful, and the first few meters of water is very safe for kids to play, it's like a swimming pool. Beautiful snorkeling, but please notice the currents. The location is great, 5 minutes by a car to Blue Bay.

Overall room status is not as clean ,in the bathroom and balcony. Needs lots of refurbishment. Cracks and stains are visible.

The staffs need to give much more attention when clients are calling them. Some stuffs at the restaurant were not available. food was okayish.

we could not swim due to cold weather and the beach was not clean enough . it was very relaxing hearing the sound of the waves the whole day and night. it was a great gateaway. easily accessible on google map.
