Lovely bright apartment. Kerstin arranged a boat trip and transport. Shops, eating outlets and pharmacy close to the accommodation. Good beaches around the area.

Kerstin was a great host and made our stay so wonderful. Was super helpful recommending places to eat. And even drove us to pick up some dinner so we didn’t have to walk in the rain! Absolute Legend!

Kerstin does a marvellous job at keeping the place very tiny, clean and comfortable. She is very kind at providing very good tips of what to do around the area and surroundings. The accommodation was always very clean and in good state. Please make sure you book the accommodation with breakfast 😊.. lovely place to spend some time around the area. Thanks Kerstin..

Kerstin was the best host, she took us to a unforgettable catamaran trip at the harbour and organised a taxi for us to visit the 7 colours earth on another day. Always helpful and her place is very clean. We had everything we needed and shops, pharmacy and restaurants were all close by.

The apartment was small but more than adequate, well equipped, modern, bright & comfortable. Great location & very reasonably priced. But the best feature was the hosts Kerstin & Visham. So friendly & sooooo helpful. Booked restaurants for us & taxi’s & when the taxi didn’t show took us themselves. Highly recommend a stay here, it’s a lovely laid back area & well worth the money. Book it!

very well arranged, closed from the street noise, completely separate apartment. Kerstin is very kind and extremely helpful and flexible.

Keirsten and her b&b offer a special welcome. the apartment is nice, cozy and all new. Equipped with a kitchen and air conditioning. She and her husband are very caring and make you feel welcomed and at home. She arranged a wonderful catamaran trip for us. She made restaurant reservations for us in the evening and cab reservations for our later travels. On the last morning he made us a hearty breakfast and great Italian coffee (essential to get the day off to the right start!) Super recommended!!! Would stay there again. Top cleanliness, central location

Spiaggia stupenda ma un po’ sporca

Loved how accommodating Kerstin was. Always offering suggestions on where we could shop, eat and sight see. The unit is in a good location and a peaceful stay.

The apartment is very nice, well fitted with everything you might need, clean. Location is on the main road and easy to find. But the best thing is the care and kindness Kerstin is putting into making your stay a memorable one. She made reservations for boat trip, restaurants every night we spent there, kindly offered to call the airport for our lost luggage. The only thing I regret is not knowing that her husband is a Romanian foodie - we would have brought him some supplies. So, shoutout to all Romanians going there: bring over some polenta flour / mălai and goat cheese and you will make a guy happy very easily.

Very clean, lovely helpful host, close to shops and walking distance from several nice restaurants. Comfortable bed. Kerstin was amazing for advice and help, booking restaurants and arranging a boat trip for us.

Would recommend having a car , the best beaches are a long walk. We had a car and was a good base for exploring.

Kerstin helps you with everything. Accommodation is wonderful and tasteful decorated. Supermarkets are really close.

Accommodation is close to a busy street.

The host was kind and available. She suggested all the excursions in the area and provided useful tips to visit places and suggested Mauritians restaurants all around to try all of them during our stay. the room was clean and the extra space outside was a plus. Recommended structure for medium-long stay.

Sofa was small if using it for longer periods such as watching a movie for example, but you can bring the patio chairs in to use.

Clean, great location, spacious and great host

We are from South Korea for the honeymoon. We had a truly enjoyable time at this accommodation. Kerstin was extremely friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The place was very clean, very comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessities. If we have the chance to visit again, we would definitely stay here. Highly recommended!

The apartments are amazingly clean and Kerstin, the host, was absolutely incredible. She organised a fantastic Ile aux Cerfs trip for us, gave some great food recommendations where we ate for all three days of our stay, and even prepared us some snacks for our Ile aux Cerfs day. The price is well worth it, if you’re wanting to stay in Trou d’Eau Douce this is the place to be.

The place was very clean and comfortable. Kerstin was such a lovely host and helped us settle in and know other places to get things we needed for our stay like taxis and halal restaurants. We would definitely recommend for any body visiting the eastern side of Mauritius.
