Jennifer is a very warm and welcoming host, and we truly enjoyed our stay at her home. The room is spacious, with a nice balcony and a private bathroom. The surroundings are peaceful, and access to the property is through a gated entrance with a security guard. Jennifer has a lot of knowledge about the island and kindly helped us with information about Mauritius. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about her guests and was always happy to assist with anything we needed. The breakfast was lovingly prepared by her and absolutely delicious. I would just recommend having a car, as the house is located a bit on the edge of Albion in a residential area. We really loved our stay.

Jennifer is an amazing host. She is full of knowledge about the island and helped us with info about mauritius very kindly. The room is very clean with a great view. Nice hot shower, delicious breakfast. We rented a scooter so location is great to visit Port Louis(north) or flic en flac/le morne (south). Thanks for everything again Jennifer!

Jennifer is a very welcoming host and I really enjoyed staying in her home. Breakfast was lovingly prepared by her and was delicious. The room with a nice balcony is very spacious and the area is so peaceful. What I enjoyed the most though was chatting with Jennifer. Everything was great.

Everything about my stay was wonderful. The owner was very helpful and shares many useful tips about the town of Albion and the island in general. The room was very comfortable with a sea view in the distance and a terrace. It's not far from the beach and is also very close to the other cities of Mauritius. I thought was it a very convenient location for a stay and would definitely recommend it for someone looking for a quiet place to relax.

I received a very warm welcome and was delighted with the many tips about the sights of Mauritius from the best host I have ever had! The quiet room was beautiful with a large balcony and swimming pool right around the corner.

I was greeted every morning by birdsong on my balcony. My room was spacious and comfortable, and Jennifer, the proprietor, was incredibly helpful. The Mauritian friend I'd planned to visit had a health emergency the day I arrived and my whole visit changed abruptly. I reached out to Jennifer and she graciously helped me re-plan. She saved the day!

Jennifer was a super friendly host, we had long, interesing conversations about cultures, languages and Mauritius. I recommend staying at her place at the beginning of your trip so you get a lot of very useful information about Mauritius before discovering the island. Everything was super clean at her place and she prepared delicious breakfast for us even at 5am when we had an early flight. The balcony had a great sea view. The cooling of the room was provided by a fan which was sufficient for us to sleep good.

Cons No screen on the sliding door nor the bathroom window. New construction daily. Toilet water tank often runs when flushed, only Jennifer can fix. Therefore access to my room is needed. The front door handle is a safety hazard. It would be hard to evacuate quickly during an emergency. You cannot use your key to enter the home if a key is in the lock inside. To lock the door from the outside when leaving, you must remove the indoor key, now you can proceed to lock the door. Sheets & towels are changed on day 7. There is no access to a washing machine. Refrigerator space is limited. This is a gated community. Call Jennifer if there is no guard on duty to let you in.

Pros Jennifer is attentive. Accommodations are Spotless and clean. Jennifer provides breakfast. I respectfully decline because I do not eat bread, cheese & eggs. Jennifer referred me to a local rental car company.

Host was extremely friendly and very informative about travel around Mauritius. Need a car to stay there, and was organised by the host at a very completive price, including airport transfers. Would highly recommend staying there to any couple, looking for a comfortable home stay.
