A few of the staff were not as friendly and helpful as the others. My son and daughter had a woman come into their room in the middle of the night and we did not feel that the matter was dealt with properly.

The food was very good - well cooked and a nice variety of options. We had half board, and enjoyed everything that we tried for breakfast and evening meal. The pool and surrounding area was lovely and the beach was beautiful. We really enjoyed using the stand up paddle boards, kayaks and pedaloes to explore the bay and even saw turtles :) The hotel is in a good location with an easy drive to other beaches in the north and north west.

We had a water leak in our room and the electricity turned off but once the team were alerted their action was swift and they relocated us to an alternate room.

Absolutely loved the warm hospitality and peaceful atmosphere. The team was exceptionally helpful, accommodating, and friendly, and the food was truly delicious. It felt like a comforting home away from home. The bar and restaurant staff deserve a special mention for their absolutely amazing service and attitude.

It would be nice with some shops and different restaurants in the area if you want to leave the nice complex for exchange.

They started repair work on our roof the day we checked out, without notifying us prior. Workers started ripping our roof apart and messed on our belongings on our balcony/patio, which also blocked access to the ground floor via the stairs temporarily. Repairs started around 7/8am and some notice would have been nice. A bit inconvenient.

The beach was beautiful and right across the street, the rooms were clean and there was good entertainment most nights - we loved the guitar musicians. I celebrated my birthday and was treated to a cake at breakfast time. Staff overall were really friendly and hospitable. I visited spa Poz for a massage and it was incredible - highly recommend.

The food is exceptionally bad, I am not a difficult person or a picky eater. Flavorless... so much choice on the buffet and yet... nothing is good and most of the food is made with cheap canned produce. They clearly don't have a professional chef. Disappointing Mauritian food that doesn't represent the hotel standards of Mauritius. It's so sad, the local stand is also very bad, selling roties for 75 MUR each when they are sold at 10 on the street and they are barely edible. (While the price is not the issue... it just was not good). The main kitchen is fine for lunch which is relatively expensive for the cheap quality. Though dinner and breakfast... taste like cheap local snacks in mauritius. Really terrible food. The wine was very cheap quality do not order it, stick to their rum drinks. Book the hotel, use the spa and amenities but for the love of food do not eat there.

The service was excellent, the amenities spacious, clean and intentional. The staff made the stay very pleasant. They have a nice beach and boat house. Nice cocktails at the bar. Their Pina colada is great. The spa is terrific, great service and the spa has real identity with local techniques and products. Great animation at night loved the local sega dances and bands.

The bathrooms didn't have locks which hampered privacy in a family stay. Staff doesn't notify before cleaning the room, which may cause discomfort to some travelers.

The property is very beautiful, located at a very nice place. Has own private beach with complimentary water sports, although nothing worth visiting nearby in walking distance. Beautiful birds nest in the property. Staff was polite.

Located couple mins away from grand baie, the Hotel is the perfect 3 star accommodation venue for travellers staying in the north side. Only a few minutes drive away you will discover the major shopping, entertainment and restaurant centres. , You can enjoy the rare beauty of nearby beaches and walkways. The hotel offers FREE WI-FI and the foods, cocktails was amazing with authentic mauritian food. Staff are all very very friendly 🙂 the go beyond and above.

Pool doesn't get a lot of sun, so is very cold but is nicely designed. The food is buffet style, so inevitably overcooked.The Mauritian food is better prepared than the 'western' food.

Excellent welcome at reception with drink and cool towel. Helped with bags and quick check-in. Nicely landscaped grounds. Room is very spacious, king-size bed and sofa makes it very comfortable. Bathroom area is large as well. Hotel is not too big so only a couple of minutes from reception to room. Staff are friendly and professional. Fairly busy road outside hotel but security always on hand to ensure safety. Bar staff excellent.

Pools are not heated. Communication for activity bookings could be easier. I wrote via booking.com directly to the hotel; I was given an email and when I wrote twice, I never got a response. Had to go in person, only to leave a message, and then follow up.

Tranquil property full of greenery. Service-minded staff who also did a great job helping me celebrate a family birthday. Thank you for the extra attention and delicious cake.

Buffet. Not good value for money, quality and variety. (We didn’t pay for half board or all inclusive.) Ok if you’re after quantity over quality. Hot food generally colder than it should be, but they did supply a microwave on buffet table!

Great rooms, Kot Nou Resto excellent. Facilities good. Management very willing to rectify issues. Offered to refund a couple of nights stay as we had to leave early for medical reasons. Offered discount on buffet. Very pleased with responses. Fantastic hot/strong showers were devine!
