Reviews of Colibri Beach Villas

This was my 4th stay at Colibri, and, as always, Patricia and her colleague were very welcoming. My family really enjoyed the stay. The seaview rooms were newly renovated and looked great. We also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Patrick and his wife, who were both very kind. Definitely looking forward to booking again!

The stairs in the bungalow, it's difficult for elders and kids to use.

Easy access to the beach,nice patio looking down the garden, and very spacious.

Cockroaches, giant red ants and gecko poo inside. In the main bathroom, there was a hole in the bath which cockroaches came through (we covered it with a saucepan) and the window fitting was broken so geckos / bugs could get in (we blocked it up with a towel but there was already a lot of gecko poo on the window fitting). There were also cockroaches in the other bathrooms, and giant red ants all over - we spent our first evening blitzing them with bug killer.

To tell the truth my first impression was not soo good - basic apertment, bit smelly wardrobes,dirty sea... But actually we started to like it there! Beach was nice (sea was still sometimes dirty in the afternoons,for bathing we prefered other beaches), we liked pleasant garden, white sunbeds, crabs in the sand, the view, kind mrs Patricia and homy breakfast :)

We especially didnt like dirty sea (which isn't of course fault of the apartment, it is just the harbour location..)

This is value for money. It is close to the beach and other nearby food joints. The rooms are nice and clean, with basic amenities.

No attached bathroom with all rooms ..common for two rooms

Room cleaning is done every other day. The helpful Patricia is available in the office every weekday from 8 AM to 2 PM.

We stayed in a ground-floor apartment with a kitchen in a building right next to the reception and close to the road. The apartment has long passed its best years. The furnishings are old. The room is quite dark, and the view is not of a garden but of a wall—both from the kitchen window and the entrance door. Noise from the road, where cars pass by, can be heard, as well as noise from the surrounding houses that are being repaired or renovated. The beach is right next to the garden, but it is not very suitable for swimming. There were cockroaches running around in the room, and the AC in the bedroom was quite noisy. The pans in the kitchen are scratched and definitely need to be replaced. There is no quality grocery store in the area, and only two restaurants, which are fully booked in the evening without a reservation.

Even though the house is not modern, it had all the amenities as described and it was spotless. We enjoyed the garden and the beach - lovely location. It has good restaurants within walking distance too. Patricia was lovely and very welcoming. Overall, it was a great stay.

The toilet’s flushing mechanism was constantly running, and a towel was placed on the floor to prevent flooding.

This is such a lovely place to stay for a few days. Lots of facilities in the common areas (lounge with nice furniture, garden with fruit trees, bbq, direct access to the small beach, etc). Good shower, white sheets, small basic kitchen with a big working fridge if you need. Only downside is, it does occasionally have some noisy neighbours. Close to shops and local restaurants so you can easily make do without a car in this area (I don’t have one).

It was very clean and spacious. The owner was the best and very helpful! Well-equipped kitchen too. This apartment is on the beach!

Needs updating. Need privacy when having a shower or going to the toilet

We like the two main large bedrooms out of 3. The sunken bathtub is a great feature in one of the bedroom. The third bedroom was small not for 2 adult. We liked the garden, the sea view through the path from the veranda to the beach, once on the beach the panoramic view is breathtaking.
