There are three things to be aware of: - The property is in a residential area and the plots are not very large, so you will hear the neighbors going after their lives, children playing outside and having fun. But all is quiet after 10pm. The only disturbance we had during the night was from the dogs in the neighborhood. There are a lot of (friendly) strays in Mauritius and even the ones with owners are often allowed to roam the streets. And when dogs walk the streets, the ones staying at home barking at them. It's of course nothing the host can change and if you stay long enough, you'll get used to it. - While the apartment and the garden is very private, the house has a top floor with a second apartment. We didn't have a lot of disturbance from the upstairs guests as we were not a lot at home, but it would have been nice to know upfront. In that case we would have definitely tried to rent the first floor apartment instead of the ground floor. :-) - The beach close to the apartment is not really good for swimming, for that you do need to walk at least 10 minutes or best, rent a car and go to Tamarin beach or Le Morne beach. But it's lovely to go to see the sunset.

The property is neat and clean, located in a residential area. There are restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance and the access to the sea is really just 2 minutes walk. The house is really cozy and super well equipped. You have everything you need, even for a longer stay (we stayed 12 nights). There are plenty of pots and pans, plates, glasses, fridge and freeze, microwave and electric oven, stove, coffee machine, washing machine, mosquito repellent. :-) The kitchen, dining/living room, bathroom are is well sized, the bedroom and the bed are on the smaller side. The garden and the terrace is lovely, we did enjoy sitting outside. Seb and Val are amazing hosts and very uncomplicated! They gave us a lot of tips on restaurants, excursions and helped to sort out a little hiccup with the car rental company. Seb was checking in with us regularly to see if everything was fine and if we needed something, He was really taking good care of us.

Everything was very okay.

Sebastien was very responsive to our questions. We had a lovely welcome basket with biscuits, chocolates, different types of snacks and tea/coffee. The apartment was very cosy, welcoming and close to the beach. It had everything you need for a great holiday. There were instructions about the facilities in the apartment and facilities around the area. The garden was beautiful and very well lit. We would greatly recommend the apartment to other guests.

There were some quirks. But to be expected from a place with a homely nature. The shower door is a little tight. The pots and pans need an upgrade.

We loved the location. With close proximity to the beach and shops. There were many appliances of great quality. Spacious villa feel with veranda and garden. Very Cozy - you'll feel instantly at Home!

We just loved it. Perfect place to stay. Everything is near by. Hosts are super friendly with lots of good advices and always so friendly and helpful. The apartment is amazing and the little garden just perfect for breakfast. So close to the beach to see a stunning sunset every eve. We would def come back

Very homely and well kitted out. The hosts gave great advice and were very responsive. The location was good for access to the local supermarket (walking, as we didn’t have a car), and it was easy to get to the local beach. The veranda and garden also gave a nice touch, and made it pleasant to sit outside in the day or evening.

The location was exceptional!!! Not even 100m to quiet beach access next to boutique hotels and unbelievably close to a public beach. Situated on a quiet coastal road with little to no traffic. Loved waking up in the morning and being able to walk down to an awesome beach. So close to coffee shops, shopping centers and restaurants. Own private garden and facilities all excellent. Air conditioning and fans. Very warm hospitality from the hosts. Definitely the BnB to choose for a couple staying in Mauritius. Tamarin is a beautiful part of the island. A great space for a holiday in Tamarin.

Very nice accomodation. Best recommended. We spent there one week and feels like at a home. Garden is great for children also with a super location near by beach. Position of accomodation gived us plenty choices for smaller trips.

The name Cozy Home is definitely accurate. The apartment is spacious and cozy at the same time, with everything you could need available. A highlight is the garden with terrace you can enjoy your breakfast on between flowers and watch all kinds of birds in the trees around you. Our hosts were the nicest and most accommodating, leaving us detailed instructions, Tipps and all kinds of little surprises.
