It is a lovely hotel with great views and such friendly hosts. Breakfast was excellent and dinner which was inexpensive was always so tasty. The people who run it couldn't be more helpful. Loved it

They topped all the trees around the terrace and close to the river that also could have provided shade. Breakfast was not well organised, breakfast room too noisy and hot. Interior design could be cosier. The room is expensive for the quality you get.

Nice location, free canoes, swimming pool to refresh. They organise an airport shuttle to pick you up. This is a local taxi, only cash payment in rupees: 1600 MUR one way. A/C in room. Basic sanitary equipment but it functioned. Diner in Otentic next door is also possible.

Room being on the last floor was very hot inside, even with fan and aircon it took a couple hours to cool down. No one offered to help carry my suitcase up three flights of stairs.

Location was good, with nice river views. Enjoyed the dinner at night (not included) food was delicious!

I think that non-alcoholic drinks could be made available throughout the day. With the heat, and no drinks available at the resort it is a bit difficult. And maybe a wider variety of food at breakfast and dinner

You’re in nature so the riverside lowest level is rustic and you will need to take mosquito precautions.

Beautiful room, super clean. Amazing welcome from Manisha and the ladies. Tasty breakfast and dinner if you choose to have it. Great location for GRSE and Ile aux Cerfs. Two pools (larger one was great) and nice decking area.

However i didnt appreciate that the customers themselves have to lift the kayak and carry it to the river. And the put it back quite high on a wooden shelf. Thankfully my man was with me. Otherwise i wouldn't be able to do it.

I took sea view room. The view was really amazing. The women staff were also very nice. The highlight for me was the kayak. Beautiful waterfall.

Location a bit remote, so a rental car is recommended, also there is no lunch option at the complex, we walked to a small restaurant nearby which was a local experience, also one of the staff offered to cook lunch at her place so that can be done as well :)

Small complex, not too crowded, pool with a view over the river, sun beds at the river, free kayaks to visit the waterfall, nice breakfast and dinner, we had a boat trip organized to Ile aux Benitiers for 600mur each😊

Rooms are not equipped to make food. You will need to eat dinner there which cost 500rs per person. The food was very nice. I thought that orange juice would be part of the dinner but they charged me extra for that which was abit strange...

Stunning location, venue has a pool and kayaking is free to use to see the waterfall. Staff very friendly. I can recommend this venue.

Wifi was working but there is definitely some room for improvement.

We spend two nights at EvaZion and can definitely recommend to have dinner here - the ladies preparing it are very friendly and the food tastes very good. We had a room at the highest floor with great view over the trees and even to the sea. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening and just watching the nature.

The bathroom was humid and the bed not really comfortable.

The food was excellent (breakfast and dinner). Our host, Jean Claude, was great : very helpful, talkative and kind. The location of the hotel was perfect to visit the East part of the island with a car (île aux Cerfs, Mahebourg, Blue Bay...). We could also use a canoe (belonging to the hotel) for free to reach a waterfall. It was really nice !

I wouldn’t say there was anything we didn’t like.

Friendly and smiling staff - always asked if you wanted more. Dinner consisted of a meat or fish with rice/noodles and a vegetable dish (usually from his land). All very tasty and served with a smile. We didn’t hire a car but the bus stop is outside so we used the local buses to either Mahebourg or Flacq.
