We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaThe apartment is very private and spacious. The view on the river and the sea is gorgeous. You can buy food and drinks from the eatery downstairs. The river is usually pleasantly busy with catamaran and other boat activities. It is a peaceful place where you breathe the purest air! The apartment is equipped with AC and fan. There is a small kitchen.

GermanyThe host is super kind and helpful. The apartment is quite large but basic. The bathroom situation is not optimal (the zink is in the kitchen). I just stayed there for 1 night and did not use the kitchen facilities.

RomaniaThe location is a bit far from beaches and tourist attractions, but there are options to get around.
It’s very spacious and clean, with good wifi, and ewuipped with everything that I needed. The hosts are amazing, and this is a great stay for someone that wants to experience Mauritius culture. The family hosting this also has a small place where you can eat downstaird, with great local food.
