We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomScandalous staff - they kept us waiting OUTSIDE the hotel when their own booking system was not working. The staff didn't speak good English or French. They kept us waiting for 45 mins until one of us kicked off and demanded to speak with the shift manager. They said apparently it was busy hence the delay but when we went in there, there was not a soul.
Breakfast was nice and the location was good, right by the sea and the location of Roches Noires in general was superb.

MauritiusThe check in was slow and staff told that they receive a booking for BB whereas in my invoice it is clearly marked Half Board as per payment and booking from booking.com agency. It's the first time that such misunderstood happen to me and hope that either the bookimg agency or the hotel work towards better customer care as this cause me an unnecessary stress before having access in my room.
Staff at the restaurant and beach bar were very professional, courteous and quick. Garden in the hotel is well maintained and the lights in the swimming pool is awesome at night. The boat house attendant was very helpful and courteous. The lady at the spa reception was very nice and courteous. Food was good but variety was rather limited but is excellent for a 3 star hotel.
