There was nowhere to sunbathe, no loungers and the terrace was always in shade. There is no beach within walking distance.

A very pleasant and spacious apartment in a quiet area, just outside La Gaulette. Supermarket and other facilities within easy walking distance. Well equipped and clean. Patrick was a helpful and attentive host.

We really enjoyed our time at the apartment. We really liked the area which was very close to all of the main sights in the south west. We especially loved the Le Morne beach, which is only a 10-15 min drive away. The area is a lot more chilled than the touristy north. There is a supermarket & bakery just down the road - 2 mins drive. Patrick is a very friendly host, who was always available to answer questions. The apartment itself has everything you need and we would definitely stay here again next time we come to Mauritius. Thank you!!

Patrick was a good host the time we were there. The place was clean and well equipped from dominoes to a washing machine. It was in a nice quiet location which had easy access to La Morne etc...

Isolated 16 km to Super U Supermarket, overpriced street fruit vendors and tiny shack restaurants. Tiny pockets of civilization were rare in Goulette area.

This stay was beautiful and serene. Comfortable bed, good facilities and great location. Number of restaurants & supermarket in walking distance and Le Morne was only a 5/10 min drive away.

Suggestion: Close off a part of the verandah to create a separate dining and kitchen. Make the existing kitchen the laundry. Aircon was a bit noisy. Supply extra towels for when you go to the beach.

Location was close to Le Morne. Street was quiet. Host was very friendly and helpful. Coffee was great.

We had to move from one apartment to another mid-stay, but it wasn't a big issue because the host kindly helped with moving all our stuff while we were away.

The apartment is just great. The house is surrounded by a lush green garden in a very quiet area close to the main street in La Gaulette. It's a short drive to Le Morne and other sights in the south of the island. The apartment has all you need for both a short and a longer stay. Eating out on the shaded terrace was splendid!

Mosquitos in room, although a mosquito tent is prepared, we went to get mosquito coil. Street dogs holding a concert on the first night, went to buy ear plugs on the second day

Nothing the property is great

Patrick the host is awesome. He helped work out some transport and car hire for me when my plans got changed by the airline. My room was comfortable and had everything described. I was able to get great nights rest as well as good days of enjoying the island. My room was cleaned as well. I made use of the self catering.

We liked everything! It's a very cosy appartement in a very green and lush neigbourhood. The location is really great, Patrick the host is very friendly and helps out with everything you need. We felt very welcome. Everything you need is in the appartment, direct light in every room (bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, living room), some plants to cheer up the place, a well equiped kitchen, a nice terras to eat in the morning. Just around the corner are shops and you can walk up the mountain from there if you want

There was nothing we didn’t like - one very minor improvement would be if an additional mirror could be provided in the bedroom as there is only a mirror in the bathroom. For two females getting ready this would have been helpful but not a big issue obviously.

Patrick’s apartment is lovely! It was just what we required for our one night stay before our early morning hike up Le Morne Brabant. The apartment is in a nice residential area with parking available outside on the road. The location is great within 10 min walk of the supermarket and with lots of great restaurants nearby. It was also 10 min drive to our hike meeting point which was perfect. The apartment is clean and spacious. Patrick greeted us on arrival and showed us around.

The air conditioner wasn’t working and it was very hot at night, they had to give us another fan but still was hot for us.

I liked the facilities such the watching machine and small details like mosquito spray, it was clean and every day we had a person that came to clean it.

The apartment is perfect. It has a lovely half indoor/half outdoor setup. Dining/relaxing in the covered patio in the evenings is the perfect way to end your day. It also has a Nespresso machine and washing machine. Host Patrick is very friendly and helpful.
