The cabin we had was very nice, very comfortable, the kitchen was very convenient, well set and well equipped to cook. The BED !!! The bed is awesome, very comfortable and made to sleep like a baby. The washing machine location is perfect and can be used without bothering no one. My daughter made the most of the pool

    The parking could be upgraded

This was such a wonderful introduction to the Island of Mauritius. The chalet was perfect, spacious and well equipped, the garden and pool were immaculate and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Would highly, highly recommend. Thank you so much for having us.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The Mauritian welcome and smiles from Petula really made us feel "at home" immediately. The vibe of the place is completely "chillaxed" and "funky". Laura/Petula will go out of their way to help you with whatever you need. You're surrounded by nature, the sound of birds, the running water from the fountain, the playful cats on your terrasse. If you want a 5-star "feeling" instead of some contrived 5-star hotel experience, this is for you. We had a busy schedule but genuinely looked forward to going "home" to LA CASE BOIS CRÉOLE each night. Big thanks to Laura, Petula, Rico and Joey (sp ??) for making us feel so at home while we were there.

Having to leave :) Seriously! When you've felt at home the whole time you've been there, it is soooo hard to leave. We were genuinely very sad leaving. We still miss the daily visits of the kitties, and we're not even cat people :(

Peaceful and private accommodation set in beautiful, well looked after gardens. The homes are positioned in a quiet affluent residential neighbourhood, just 15mins easy walk along a quiet straight road to the beautiful Albion beach. 1 min walk to a good supermarket and a great restaurant. Perfect for a female solo traveller like me with no rental car to have a few nights to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Felt very safe. Also the AC was the most effective I’ve experienced - better than 3/4 star places!

Nothing. The accommodation is as described - it’s authentic and basic (so not suitable if you’re after something fancy) but has everything you need for self-catered accommodation.

Small but beautiful/clean property – compact accommodation with a lovely area for sitouts–kitchen was well equipped---swimming pool was clean

Supermarket and restaurant shut early in evening so need to plan dinner accordingly--Location is remote and closest bus stop is a long walk away – taxis are ridiculously expensive—it would help if the hosts had a list of taxi drivers who charged reasonably—Host provided a number but we spent a lot on the service.
