Great view

WOW!!! 🤩🖤🤩🖤 What a location, I could have stayed here so much longer, just watching the birds, the flying fox & just being surrounded by nature. It was so beautiful, with stunning views. Amazing views from the pool, too! I'd definitely go back for sure

The location is lovely almost away from the noise and clouds

We felt the reception at on arrival was poor We never received the phone number we were promised The facilities are quite basic We were in the cabin just above the swimming pool A group using the pool at 1 in the morning were noisy

Location is great

One of the Bedroom AC was not working.

The house we stayed was the upper one. Very nice view. The rooms were all open. Breakfast is provided in a basket in huge quantity to finish yourself which is ok. The host was very kind.

It‘s at the trailhead for the lion mountain which is a great hike. But for everything else you need a car. Nothing really in walking distance.

The view from the room was exceptional, you could see the airport in the distance.the surrounding countryside and the mountains. The location was near to Blue bay which is one of my favourite places Breakfast arrived every second day in a basket, comprising of a loaf of bread, yoghurts and fresh eggs..Jam and fresh milk and a carton of juice. More than enough for us. On arrival we were met by the most friendliest person you could want to meet. Kavi, showed us our room and the pool explained about how things worked etc... 10/10

If i had to be picky, personally i would of liked a hairdryer and washing machine to be provided and less mosquitos. My husband didn't get bitten once, but i did.

Hidden gem in the mountain, calm and peaceful place to stay. Sameer was so helpful with everything. Close to mahebourg, blue bay and international airport

Everything exceptional

We got a nice hamper filled with eggs, bread, milk, jus, butter, papaya jam (which was delicious) and yogurts. The portion was huge and it kept us full till dinner time. We don’t like toast and were provided with freshly baked Mauritian breads instead. Mr Sameer made our stay memorable and comfy. La Hacienda is a nice comfy place to escape hectic life. Would 100% recommend.The morning view and sunset from the mount Lion is stunning. Couldn’t have enough of the place and hospitality received.

Lots of mosquitoes which is understandable- bring your insect repellent!

We enjoyed our time at La Hacienda, thank you. Nice and spacious accommodation. Beautiful views, helpful staff. Nice pool. Lovely breakfast. Being in the mountains, you definitely need to bring Mozzie spray with you.

Spectacular and panoramic views... Its value for money and a must to do, in the morning we get a huge basket for breakfast with fresh eggs, jam, bread... Thanks to Kavi, who welcomed us and is always here for our stay..

I think the house needs a little renovation but to keep the rustic style and utensils need to be replaced, however it remains a wonderful place.

Noisy music from the chalet by the pool.

The view is absolutely incredible you are in the top of the mountain and can see mountains, valleys and the ocean. It’s lovely and quiet and tucked away up high but this was tricky for transport.

It was not the cleanest, obviously in tropical places bugs and lizards are prevalent but this was unbelievably uncomfortable, lizards in our bathroom everyday and eaten alive by mosquitoes. We had breakfast included but this meant a loaf of bread, 4 eggs and milk delivered each day, which we had to prepare but they didn’t really have a lot of cooking utensils. Towels and sheets weren’t changed daily and due to humidity everything was damp and didn’t dry properly.

The view was very nice. The staff was nice.

TOO MANY FLIES, ANTS AND OTHER NON WELCOMED ANIMALS INSIDE THE HOUSE. the room was NOT cleaned for a long time, the sheets were not cleaned, the walls were so dirty and a worm waited for us in the kettle... The hot water in the shower was not working and there was not any one to call to via phone. Cookware was dirty.

Stunning location. Friendly staff. Breakfast delivered to door. All the essentials provided in the house.

Drive to property is a little unnerving initially as steep and narrow but not scary once you get used to it!

The place, garden, view, and turtles in property are beautiful.

The house itself is not well protected against penetrating a big insect inside. We had cockroaches coming in every day/night. They need to pay more attention to this aspect. Using nets in windows could help as well as protecting waste pipes from the sink. The bathroom stinks with mold. They should do a new painting in all rooms. The walls are very dirty. The staff is friendly, trying to help and clean anytime you need. But dirty walls can't be just cleaned. The house needs more care, maybe a woman's care. Breakfast included raw eggs. When I order house with breakfast I expected something more for that money.

The place is in a great location with amazing view, it is enjoyable just to isolate yourself for a few days in the mountain. The host Sameer was so friendly and tried to help as much as he can.

There is a huge mosquito issue there although we have used many typed of repellent but they were still not enough. just spending a few minutes outside and you will get heavily bitten, me and my family really suffered from this and had to spend the next day indoor. The kitchen appliances were in really bad shape and dirty. in general the place is pretty old and needs renovation.
