Great place to relax, quiet and peaceful, cozy pool. Close to the market and restaurants. Wonderful welcome by the owner and marking on the map restaurants worth visiting. Dedicated parking spaces at the facility. Spacious apartment, fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom. Extra homemade breakfasts, different every day.

There’s no ac in places out side of the room, so it can get pretty hot, sweaty and humid while having breakfast.

WiFi was very slow and often fell down.

Location is ideal for backpackers. Bus stop and a supermarket in a walking distance. Peacefull and calm neighborhood. The host and the personel are very lovely.

Unless I missed some instructions I found it a little hard to find the entrance. Once you open the large white gate then you will see the sign for reception but its not immediately obvious from outside on arrival - see photo. There was a bell on the wall but i wasnt sure if it was for the entrance as it was in French which is clearly my fault, sorry. Comment is to assist future guests. I would stay again so dont be put off by the remark.

Unfortunately it is Not reachable by Bus. You Must either go by Bus to the centre and take a Shared Taxi or jump off the Bus near the mal to have a 15 min Walk.

Nice accomodation, nice area, quite but with everything you need around. Nice Host and employees in the House, helping you to come along with the cyclone. Free bike Rental in the House: 15 min to Pointe desny and in the centre.

Everything was great, good value for money. Room was clean and large enough. Nice terrace, the personnal is so friendly. If you plan to stay longer than 2 days there i would suggest renting a car or scooter as there is not much transport or taxi available from there. It is a very quiet area.

Your are not exactly in most interesting area of Mauricius, so this hotel is ideal if you have rented car. Breakfast is traditional might not be for everyone. Coffee is not good :D

Shower could be better ..it works ok but the pressure’s not great and that’s the worst I can think of to say so don’t be put off!

Nathalie and her sister and the staff are excellent..it’s a great place to stay and with the special ingredient that if anything went wrong you’d be confident that they would try and fix it..This was my second stay and if I went back to Mauritius I’d definitely stay there again.

No real negatives.

Excellent value for money in a quiet neighbourhood. Just 400m to a large supermarket and 2k easy walk to the beautiful swimming and beach of Point d’Esny. It’s then another delightful 3k beach walk to Blue Bay with regular buses back. The small pool is ideal for a refreshing dip amongst tropical plants. My apartment was well equipped. Small breakfast included which is a bonus.

The owner is very kind and helped us with a car to take us to the airport. The breakfast is tasty and is an advantage. The location is close to the airport, 15 minutes by car.

It's not within walking distance of any beaches. That wasn't a concern for me but might be for some visitors.

Very poor WiFi, connection off and on in the room and communal areas. Three flights of stairs up to the room.

Friendly helpful, staff and welcomed with a cold fruit juice. Clean comfortable room. Our room was changed from the one we booked and ended up having a kitchen and washing machine that we did not expect. Small pool for use by guests. Nice breakfast included 7-9am. Walkable into Mahebourg or local bus from the nearby supermarket to Mahebourg or Blue Bay. Able to arrange taxi to the airport (not from the airport).

Breakfast is not the best. If you are vegetarian or vegan - it's best you skip breakfast, unless you are fine with jam and toast and the occasional fruit. The bed was not all that comfortable, felt like the mattress was split in two, but that all depends on which room you get, some seem more comfortable than others. sometimes there was no hot water. btw if you love cats, (which I don't) you might get a surprise visit (usually when you're dead asleep) from one in the middle of the night ie. if your room faces the mango tree.

The host was accommodating. She is kind, most helpful and available for any help or assistance needed at any time. She is very understanding and cooperative. The accommodation is within walking distance to the Bovallon Mall which was nice and it's close to the airport.
