We stayed in the cottage which was perfect for our tour around Mauritius. This boutique hotel gave us a base to visit the sites such as Casela Nature Park, Black River Gorge and Grand Bassin. Our cottage provided some self-catering facilities and a lovely place to sit and watch the activities in the bay. We loved relaxing by the pool and watching the sunset.

Nothing really to complain about.

This probably has the most gorgeous view of the bay compared to any other hotel along this coast. Clean and lovely little hotel, with friendly staff. Excellent location, can easily walk to the local beach, shops and restaurants. (We had a car) In August this is a quiet and lovely little seaside town to stay in, with plenty of nice restaurants and cafes.

The rooms with a high ceiling are not very soundproofed, you can hear pretty much everything that's happening in the other rooms.

The restaurant for dinner was slightly disappointing. We were asked during breakfast if we would come for dinner, and we said yes. When coming to the dinner, the waiter said a couple of times that we should have came earlier and next time we better tell the exact time of coming, since he has other things to do rather then waiting for us.. (No one at breakfast asked us for time, so we didn't think it would be a problem). Nothing major, just i was feeling not very comfortable hearing that. The tuna grilled was good, while large prawns were mediocre and overpriced for such a portion (3 pieces). Other than this dining experience, everything else was perfect, and we would still recommend the hotel for sure.

The hotel is small and cozy, located at the very beginning of the Flic En Flac beach. We were met with a welcome drink, which was very nice. The room has everything needed, the bed is comfy, and the bathroom has shampoo and shower gel. The breakfast was modest in selection, yet good, we always felt full. It includes some buffet with meat/fish/cheese, some veggies, sausages, cereals, and yogurt. They bring you separately croissants and pain au chocolat (which are very tasty), fruits, and eggs upon request. The administrator was very friendly and cheerful. Just to note: the hotel is located directly at the beach, yet you would need to walk for about 10 mins to get to the place where it's possible to swim. We knew this before booking, so it wasn't an issue for us, a walk on such a beautiful beach is wonderful.

A small and very intimate hotel. The staff are exceptionally warm and helpful. The chef is first rate, really gourmet quality meals. Location is spectacular, quiet and peaceful. Stunning sunsets. Great value for money. We loved everything about it.

The airco in the room was extremely noisy not being able to reduce the fan. Expected more from the breakfast - no veggies, no cheese. The beach is appropriate only for snorkeling

The shower water pressure was low, and the Wi-Fi connection was slow.

The room had a unique design with an incredible view of the infinity pool and the sea. The staff were polite and extremely helpful. We also enjoyed swimming and taking walks along the beach. There were good restaurants within walking distance.

The place is unreal ! Start from such an amaizng people who was taking a very good care of me, the food and the perfect sunset 🙏💖 Location of the hotel is super easy to find, communication with the personel sience the booking till the end of your stay is perfect and they are super helpful with explanations about everything and as well a bit of a history of the place. Sunset from the infinity pool is so magical, having a swim with the view is just pure perfection 💖 Room was super clean, comfortable and spacious, beautiful garden and the restaurant with such a good choice of food from the breakfast till late dinner. The only tiny complaint I would have was our shower door didn't sit on the hinges right which made some for some big puddles. But this is pretty miniscule in comparisson to how well everything went.

The staff at Deux Canons are among the kindest I have ever encountered, what a lovely group of people who work there! The free parking was also helpful, great sunset views, excellent and high-quality food from the kitchen, everything was kept clean, very close to the beautiful Flic en Flac beach. They were also very welcoming to our toddler. I am really glad we chose this little boutique hotel instead of one of the bigger resorts.

We had a wonderful time at Les 2 Canons. The first thing anyone will notice is the beautiful view, especially during sunset. Breakfast was really good and the variety was great. We also ate at the hotel every night and absolutely loved the food and the commitment of the staff to make us feel as comfortable as possible. We would absolutely recommend staying at Les 2 Canons!

The coffee wasn’t the best, to be honest. The showerhead was super confusing, too, if I’m being finicky. Also would’ve liked more open access to drinkable water, given that we’re not allowed to drink tap water in Mauritius.

We enjoyed how clean and convenient the room was. It was right on the edge of the ocean, only that the ocean in front of us is very rocky, so to enjoy the sea you have to walk quite a bit. We liked the food and the bed was quality!
