Our stay at the villa exceeded all expectations! I loved absolutely everything — from the thoughtfully designed décor that reflects the island’s spirit to the charming details like coffee glasses, plates, and quality kitchen utensils. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for cooking, which was very convenient. The little touches made our stay even more enjoyable: the mattress, pillows, and blankets were of outstanding quality — I slept like in paradise. The host was always available and ready to help with any questions, which made us feel truly cared for. The garden on the property is simply stunning — in my opinion, the best in the entire Flic en Flac area. And the turtles living there added even more magic and joy to our experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, relaxation, and a wonderful time. It’s the perfect retreat for the soul!

We really enjoyed our stay at Maison Tropical. The aesthetic, cleanliness and location of the place were superb. The hosts (a lovely couple) were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make our stay memorable.

The property and suites were super clean with beautiful interior characteristic of Mauritius. The location in Flic en Flac was very convenient for doing a lot of short day trips but also for beach days. The property itself is located in a rather quiet and very safe environment. The hosts were extremely friendly and courteous, especially when it came to recommending trips and things to explore. They even organized a boat trip for us and we could borrow bicycles and snorkeling equipment free of charge, which was nice. One could definitely sense that the they wanted us to have a good stay and the best experiences possible. This made us feel at home right away.

We had the most wonderful stay with Joao and Polina on the beautiful island of Mauritius. From the moment we arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and completely at home. The hospitality they showed us was truly exceptional — every detail was taken care of with so much love and attention.

Beautiful, thoughtful accommodation. You can see a lot of love and care has gone into making it special for guests. The owners are wonderful - kind and helpful. They want you to have an amazing stay and do whatever they can to make this happen. The aesthetic is calm yet characterful. Pool area is beautiful and there are resident tortoises 🐢.

The property was stunningly decorated, had all the amenities you could want, and was perfectly situated in Flic en Flac. The owners Polina and Joao were fantastic hosts, had a lot of great tips on the area, and were very welcoming. I couldn’t recommend this property enough!

The property is adorable absolutely in every detail. Very beautiful & comfortable suit, exceptional service, very welcoming owners. The design is authentic, beds are comfortable, overall the stay was adorable.

Everything about Maison Tropical was perfect, we were a little apprehensive about the location but within a 10 minute you are at the beach and to be honest we preferred this. The room was perfect, bed was super comfortable, the interior design was next level and it was just such a perfect little get away. I genuinely don't have a bad thing to say :) Joao and the staff members went above and beyond to make everything easy and comfortable.

This was hands down the best experience we could have had in Mauritius. It’s an absolute gem hidden in a residential area near the Flic en Flac beach. A real tropical oasis, with sooo much style and character. Three private maisonette suites, equipped with everything you could ask for. And an exceptional cleaning service every day. But the best is by far the ultra-sweet & caring owners, Polina & Joao - they had allll the tips for us and were so caring. THANK YOU! Can’t wait to come back

These apartments/villa exceeded my expectations. This is a brand-new, exclusive, and luxurious place where every detail has been carefully thought out. The interior is exceptional and truly unique. I felt indescribably wonderful—pure tranquility and luxury. The owner generously treated us to fresh pastries from the store several mornings—sincere thanks to him for that. The young woman who welcomed us and assisted with various questions was also incredibly kind and helpful. The apartments were cleaned daily, which I hadn’t even expected. The pool was fantastic, and most of the time, it felt almost private. There’s both a terrace and a balcony—I loved sipping coffee from the in-room coffee machine while listening to the birds chirping on the terrace. It’s just a short walk to the main street, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants. The villa is surrounded by lush greenery, making you feel as if you're in the tropics—fittingly, the name reflects that. A huge thank you for our wonderful stay!

Maison Tropical is a hidden gem! The apartments are beautifully designed with carefully selected local accessories, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere. Everything is spotless and super hygienic. The lush greenery with tropical plants and palms makes it feel like an oasis. The available bicycles allowed us to access the entire Flic en Flac area easily. The pictures are completely accurate. You can tell that the owner who was also present during our stay really puts his heart into this place - it’s more than just a business for him and that makes the experience truly special.

Very well decorated, very clean. Beautiful garden and pool - very peaceful! The kitchen is rather well equipped. The area is very calm which makes it perfect to relax. The contact person was very reactive to my messages when having questions.

It's just some details as overall we enjoyed very much our stay but I would have like to have a mosquito net in the bedroom and curtain at the window in front of the bed and maybe some switches near the bed or bedside lamps.

The place was perfect for holiday! We stayed 4 nights, and we wish we could stay longer. The beds were like sleeping in heaven! And the host was friendly and borrowed us bicycles we could use, that made us so easy to go to the beach and restaurants! Voila!

Excellent newer guest house in Mauritius with lush tropical garden and greatly designed, spacious guest suites. Our suite was very well equipped with full kitchen (Nespresso coffee machine, oven, dishwasher, washing machine ect), pretty living room with social bathroom, large bedroom with excellent bed and spacious bathroom with high quality towels, robes, soaps and walk-in shower. The property is perfectly located a close drive from hustle and bustle of the town and is quick bike ride away from Flic en Flac Beach (free bike rentals is included in the stay) We can highly recommend Maison Tropical and would definitely go back again!

Every corner of the property felt like stepping into a curated, aesthetic museum. The lush green garden, with the pool was the crown jewel of the property. Relaxing there felt like a slice of paradise. Words truly cannot capture how breathtaking every single detail of this property is. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. They were incredibly attentive, kind, and always ready to assist in any situation, which made the experience even more special. This stay was an absolute dream, and our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. It’s a place we will cherish and hope to return to someday. Highly recommended!
