The location is not great, especially if you don't drive. There is a bus nearby, but the ride to town takes kind of long and it stops running at 7PM. Taxis are expensive and tricky to get. There is a supermarket nearby and all kinds of small restaurants, so it's not a deserted place in the middle of nowhere, but if you come to visit Port Luis, this location is not convenient.

Very friendly and helpful hosts, they even had a complementary dinner for me upon arrival. The place is lovely and 'authentic,' you will get a taste of what life is like in Mauritius. The apartment is spacious, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The hosts helped me to find transportation and a dentist, they made phone calls for me and went out of their way to help me.

I would love to revisit, however if I were to revisit, it would unfortunately be a slight problem with no aircondition in the second room if I were to travel with more people. There were however fans, which is a good alternative.

We loved staying at Open Air. The hosts were extremely nice and really helpful. The kitchen was well equipped, and the house was lovely. There was a lot of space in the house as well as good aircondition in one of the two rooms.

Everything was great, from the location (close to the supermarket and the bus stop to the centre of Port Louis) to the friendly hosts. The apartment was really convenient, spacious and clean, with well equipped kitchen, eating area, bathroom and two big bedrooms. The hosts were very welcoming, helpful and even left some food and drinks in the fridge for me. The earlier check in and later check out was no problem. It was a great stay.

While we understand that the property is going environmentally friendly with the solar geyser, the water pressure is just too low to allow for an enjoyable wash off from the islands adventures. There is a gas heater on the side though we had not tested it, perhaps other guests may find that more acceptable. It would really really really make the property get a perfect 10 if they could find a way to improve the wireless reception. Only the living area and childrens room have decent range. This drops to 1 - 2 bars in the main bedroom and 0 wifi in the bathroom area - a pity as the majority of reading and investigations into island activities happen when a person is "on the throne".

The 9.0 rating on the walls is well deserved. The apartment feels like a holiday home that you or your family own and travel to from time to time. The cosy decorations, homely touches and overall complete private feel make this a welcoming, comfortable place that feels as if you are back in your house. The fridge and stove allow the opportunity for travellers to make the food they trust, the completely equipped apartment even has cleaning materials to allow for washing - a HUGE step up from a hotel which allows travellers to be able to pack less without worry for wearing dirty clothes. It is the small touches like this that make it 10x better than an overpriced hotel. Per and Miranda are the loving couple that will assist in any means they can but can completely disappear as if you didn't even know they were upstairs. There is ample space to unpack and hold luggage even for kids. The airconditioner makes the humid nights bearable. Additional touches that show their commitment to value added service include the gifts they left for me and my wife on our honeymoon and the most refreshing ice tea that welcomed us to mauritius.

I have nothing bad to say.

Everything was great, from the location to the hospitality and everything in-between. Per and Marina make you feel right at home. The apartment was huge with a lovely kitchen, eating area, and 2 big bedrooms. Tranquil garden. Marina is an excellent cook too. Definitely not to be missed.

They very kindly checked me in late when my flight arrived in the evening. The hosts were very welcoming and even left some food and water in the fridge for me which was very kind and unexpected. The location is really convenient as close to the bus stop where there are regular buses into the city centre. There is airconditioning, and it is really spacious and clean. I was very lucky to be able to book this :)

The bathroom shower was clogged... And no hot water at the basin.. No smart TV. Maybe a new mattress.

Per and Marina are good hosts.. Very welcoming. Received us with a smile and always have some snack to make us feel welcome. Very pleasant garden and very spacious room. Bus terminal was very close and the grocer was very convenient.
