I really liked Matt. The guy at reception who checked us in. Soooo friendly and full of smiles. Even helped us carry our big heavy bags. He is just soooo kind and a really happy person. The apartment is beautiful and clean and spacious. Very close to the beach about 5 mins drive. Lots of shops to eat and best part basement parking for your car. Also the other best part is that they give you beach umbrellas, snorkeling equipment and beach toys which you can use and return daily. Thanks Matt was sooo lovely meeting you. 😊

Plenty of stairs to climb - it was not a problem for us but can be an issue if you have trouble climbing steps.

One of the best properties I have stayed at. Perfectly suited for families. The apartment had everything needed - well stocked kitchen, clean and big bed, good light. Matt was very friendly and helped us settle into Mauritius as it was our first day in the country. They also have beach toys for the kids which was a massive plus. Proximity to Grand Baie and Trou aux Biches and Pereybere - so you'll get everything within short drives. We wished we could have spent a few more days here.

I missed a little bit more natural sunlight in the room, but the balcony is cute. It can be a little noisy if you wanna open the window for the night.

The attitude of the management/reception is high rated and exceptional! They helped in all my wishes even when I needed to change the bed mattress for a harder one because of pain. I really appreciate it and thank you again! Very good price value! Well maintained accommodation!

The apartments as well as the building are well equipped (fridge, washing machine, gas stove, small oven, air conditioning), there are professional water filters in the corridors from which you can safely drink water. Matt and Yash who manage the place are friendly and willing to help with anything from recommending places worth visiting to helping us organize tours. When we mentioned we were on our honeymoon, it was Yash who came to our room to give us champagne, which was very nice. Very good place to stay in Mauritius in the Grand Baie area. As for the location, there is a store at the bottom of the building and there are 2 bakeries and several restaurants in the area. It is 10 minutes by foot to the beautiful Mont Choicy beach.

Street noise in the morning from around 7.30 am was loud. Advise ear plugs then it’s fine. I didn’t like the accordion style door on the bathroom which is right next to the main entrance but the owners have clearly done their best with the space they have.

Residence Choisy studio is well equipped and well situated in a beautiful style. Thoughtful, very basic breakfast basket provided for the first day. Loved that they had a simple filter coffee machine and that enough coffee and tea was provided for a cup a day for my stay. Also appreciated them saying they wouldn’t be replenished each day as I don’t like waste. Great hosts. as a member of the LGBTQ community, the owners approach and queer run space was a breath of fresh air.

The apartment had everything, and it was really thoughtful to have a Snack Box and Filter Coffee available for the stay. We were given beach towels and snorkelling masks, and we were given great advice in terms of sightseeing, etc. On arrival. The beds were very comfortable, and there was enough cupboard space. Despite two layers of windows, the sound of the road can be heard (logical but still, something to keep in mind). Apart from that, everything was perfect.

Yash, Matt and Amrish were great hosts. As soon as we expressed any wishes, they helped us right away, providing us with a wide range of solutions (snorkels, contacts for excursion, quick resolution of issues). You would be ten minutes away from the Mont Choisy beach, which is a big plus. The studio was really comfortable, neat and tidy.

The nearest beach was a bit too far to reach by foot.

Yash was super helpful. The place was spotlessly clean with color-coordinated kitchen utensils. We also borrowed beach towels and snorkels for our visits to the beach.

Place was quite small and we knew it so it is not a big issue but you need to be prepared for that. Loggia was a good and bad idea at the same time: the road was quite loud so it was good that it was soundproofed by 2nd window. At the same time we had a problem with air circulation - too loud and too many fumes and too many mosquitos.. to open the window.

Really clean apartment, nice bed. Equipped kitchen with washing machine. Beach equipment was available for use: as well for grownups as for kids (toys, umbrella, towels, snorkeling masks and more) Some coffee and tea was also provided which is always nice, drinking water was available for all of the guests in the tanks in hall. Beach is quite nice and not too far but the road on foot is not the greatest idea.

I had stayed at Résidence Le Point Choisy back in 2022 for a long-term work trip, but this time around (March 2024), I was with friends/family (incl. a toddler) for a relaxing time. I was amazed to see that the place has gotten even more beautiful and cared for. The attention to detail is what makes this place so warm and nurturing. The staff and management are super kind, always there to help if we need anything. The space is super clean and very comfy. And it's ideally located. I will definitely be staying there again on future trips!

If the air conditioning wasn't right above our bed, it could have been more comfortable for us. Also the bathroom fan is quite loud. We asked for cleaning once during the 5 days and the bathroom mat was not changed although it was quite dirty by then, because it is white. I then washed it, but it took 2 days for it to partially dry, so a small suggestion would be the option to get a fresh one when needed. I didn't want it to get too dirty as it would possibly get ruined during the whole 5 days. But this is only a minor thing. Other than that it is very nice place to stay.

The location was perfect. close to restaurants, coffee shop, pharmacy, bus stop and even the beach is a 10 minutes walk. The area is nice and compared to Flic en Flac, where we spent the rest of our holiday, this area of Pointe aux Cannoniers looks safer for our European eyes. The apartment was well equipped with everything (hair dryer, soap, towels, even some salt and pepper, oil, washing powder, coffee for the coffee machine) we needed and the host even waited us with cold water in the fridge and some milk also. The property has filtered water available for their guests which is very handy when you are unsure of how safe it is to drink the water from the tap. The hosts were more than helpful with everything we approached them with. Thank you to both of them. :)

Where to begin.. I think they spoiled us. Before we even came we had a couple of questions about the activities on the island, how it goes with a rent a car etc. and they were very precise with all the answers. The day we came we had a lovely check in, Yash and Matt are great! During our stay all the staff were more than welcoming and were in a good mood which is rare to see in those days. The apartment was cleaned every day without any surcharges. Every message we sent would be answerered straight away. They made our stay much easier than it would be. We felt there like home. Very clean, spacious and well-equipped place. Two big bedroom with private bathroom and AC. There are two big water tank where you can get drinking water easily. Privat parking place is also provided under the building. Staff is very kind and responsive. We got a little a christmas gift as well. :) Beach is about 10 min by walk.

The most amazing staff. So very helpful. Apartment has everything that you need from toaster to washing machine and everything in between. Short walk, 5 to 10 minutes to Mont Choisey Beach. Close to public transport and restaurants if you dont want to cook for yourself. Great place to stay

The boss and all staff are so friendly. rooms are spacious also they have daily cleanup lady to make sure you come back have a comfortable”home”. 5mins drive,you get the most beautiful beautiful beach on this island. We enjoyed our stay,sadly we couldn’t stay longer.
